Up for grabs is a 1976 Mini Cooper Classic that was updated/rebuilt a few years ago by a previous owner with all the mechanical and interior items from a late 1990's low mileage Japanese spec Mini Cooper Classic with A/C. The odometer reading is correct for the mileage on the engine and running gear from the Japanese donor car. Items that I have taken care since owning the car:
-New front and rear window seals
-Dash recovered
-New Radio
-Driver's seat rail extensions---I am 6' tall and have no problem driving the car for long distances.
-Rebuilt the heater with new heater radiator and updated fan.
-Rebuilt alternator
-Recent Tune up including new spark plugs, wires, belt and air filter
-Coolant system flushed
-New rubber floor mats
Only item that was not fully hooked up during the rebuild of the car by the previous owner was the Air Bag, but I was told everything is in place if someone was interested in having it completed. Only flaws in the paint are rock chips on the rear wheel arches on both sides, otherwise the paint looks great including the racing strips. The car gets great gas mileage in the mid 30's and is a blast to drive. Several spare items come with the car including oil filters, air filter, fuel filter and a few hard to find electrical items for the fuel injected engine.I would feel comfortable driving this car anywhere and if the future owner wishes to fly into to drive the car home the closest Airport is in Redmond Oregon and I would be happy to pick you up. Car has a free and clear title in my name and the only reason I am selling this car is that I have found another toy that needs its garage space. 2015 Mini Cooper S does best gymkhana impersonation in Malaysia

To make the point it enlisted the aid of Putrajaya roads, local agency Saatchi & Saatchi Arachnid and four local action sports stars: Fizzy, Shuk, Rizlan and Nasa.
A bog standard Mini Cooper S is the star, its 192-horsepower engine and rollcage-free cabin reinforcing the message that you can do the same thing in a model right off the showroom floor... if you happen to have the same skills as Ivan Khong, the Malaysian Gymkhana Champion behind the wheel. Mini shows how to camp in style
Sun, 21 Jul 2013If you're the type of person who loves spontaneous road trips and camping, and Volkswagen's Camper Vans aren't your style (or you can't find one for sale in the US), then Mini has what you're looking for: the Clubvan Camper, Cowley caravan or Countryman ALL4 Camp. Unfortunately, Mini says there are no plans to offer any of them for sale. And no, this doesn't seem to be a recycled April fools joke, in which Mini touted the Swindon Roof Top Tent and Cowley.
Let's start with the Clubvan camper, a curious prototype that has a sleeping area for one and an extendable kitchenette featuring a stove and chest fridge. And we say curious because, in addition to not being offered for sale anywhere at this point, the Camper is based on the Clubvan, which was just pulled from US dealerships due to low sales volume. This thing definitely isn't coming to the US.
The Cowley caravan, named after Mini's historic factory in England (known today as Plant Oxford), can be towed behind a Mini vehicle and features a sleeping area for two, a twin-burner gas stove and a water tank complete with pump and sink facility. It looks quite comfortable in there. The Cowley uses a solar panel to charge its onboard battery, and it has a 230-volt connection to power the fridge and entertainment equipment.
Mini John Cooper Works gets ready to rumble
Fri, 14 Nov 2014Mini gave us our first taste of its next-generation John Cooper Works Hardtop in concept form at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. And in fact, we already know that the production version will make its debut at the 2015 Detroit show in January. Fitting, then, that this most recent round of spy shots shows a JCW that's pretty much ready to roll - peel back that yellow swirly paper, and you've pretty much got the final deal.
It's easy to make out the final design for the revised front and rear fascias, and we can clearly see a more robust brake package nestled behind those alloy wheels. Speaking of, we must admit, the wheels here look rather pedestrian for a JCW model, but they could just be prototype rollers and not indicative of the final rolling stock. We expect the flashy red decals of the concept to be offered on the production model, as well, though they could be optional kit.
As reported earlier, power is expected to come from a 230-horsepower turbo-four - a modest increase over the 208 hp from the outgoing Mini JCW. Expect that to route through a six-speed manual transmission, sending turbocharged oomph to the front wheels.
