A professionally prepared race car, that was raced once by the original owner in the first Grand Am race at Miami-Homestead Speedway.
Since purchasing the car last season I have not had any mechanical problems with the car.My first race was the 2013 National at Mid-Oho where I was on the podium in my first weekend driving the car. I have driven the car two weekends so far this year. Mini has an SCCA logbook, and has passed tech inspection for 2014. You can literally take this car straight to a race weekend! I have two race seats available to be purchased with the car, one for drivers under 200 pounds, and the other is a big boy seat. Also have lead weights that can be used to adjust the total weight, and adjust corner weights to suit the new owner. Car comes with extra set of front and rear CarboTech brake pads, and a few other spares. I have a rebuilt title for car, the car can be streetable. Mini Cooper Countryman only small car to earn good grade in latest IIHS crash tests [w/video]

Competitors in the small-car segment didn't do nearly as well. Four vehicles earned "poor" grades.
Only one small car out of 12 tested earned a good grade in the latest round of crash-test results compiled by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The Mini Cooper Countryman received a "good" ranking on the organization's small-front overlap test.

Fri, 16 Nov 2012About three weeks prior to this brief yet balls-to-the-wall drive on the Spanish island of Mallorca, I saw that Mini USA announced pricing for the keenly anticipated Mini John Copper Works GP. And that number would be - *a-hem* - $39,950 for starters.
I am always intent upon finding the pinnacle of what a certain car promises me, and almost at any cost. Almost. When I think "steaming hatchback," I think of something exactly like this Mini GP, and the steep price doesn't squelch my pleasure. They're only building 2,000 of them anyway, and the units coming to the US will start arriving in owners' hands on March 16 of next year. These buyers will be extremely happy and remorse-free.

2015 Mini Hardtop 5-Door isn't for the country, man [w/video]
Thu, 02 Oct 2014We've seen it in super high-res glory, and we can even build one on the automaker's website, but the Paris Motor Show marks the official coming out party for the new Mini Hardtop 4 Door (which is what it's called in the US, despite this Euro car having "5 Door" badging). It's a stretched version of the third-generation Mini Hardtop, but with an extra set of doors for rear seat passengers. Think of it as a more useful Clubman, but with a lower ride height and less rugged-ness than the Countryman. Got it? Good.
Engine options carry over from the normal Mini Hardtop range, with a 1.5-liter turbo-three and a 2.0-liter turbo-four offering 134 and 189 horsepower, respectively. The rest of the car is everything else you know and love from the Mini range, just with a more spacious rear bench. And as you'd expect, there's a nearly endless pallet of customization options.
The Hardtop 4 Door arrives at US dealerships just before the end of the year, commanding a roughly $1,000 premium over its three-door kin. Scope out our new live shots in the gallery above, and take in the extensive press blast, below.
