Hello, I am a small truck dealer in southeastern Indiana and I bought this car for my 15 year old daughter to fix up for her first car, but I have since took a different direction. The car has been slightly wrecked in the left front corner. CLEAN TITLE! I purchased this mini from a inoperable sale in Houston, TX. The parts that it needs in my personally opinion and not limited to are: hood, front bumper cover, left headlight assembly, grille, fog light assemblies, inner bumper support, inner fender, tie rod end, windshield, and both front air bags. This is just my visual guess of the parts that I see it needs, I am sure there are more little pieces. Other than the damage the car is rust free and very clean. I personally do not see any frame damage myself, but I am not an expert either. The car does start right up and run fine, but the transmission does not pull in foward or reverse. It lunges like it wants to go but it does not move. I do not know if this had anything to do with the accident or it has a transmission problem. The mileage is actual and again the title is clear. I am a licensed Indiana dealer so Indiana residence will be responsible for 7% IN sales tax, but no other hidden fees will apply. Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements, although I will help with loading onto the shippers trailer. This is a No Reserve auction, so high bidder will own the car! Please do not bid if you do not have the funds or do not plan on completing the deal. If you have any questions or would like to inspect the car prior to bidding please feel free to call or text me at (812)614-8323 Thanks!

Mini goes zany with latest accessories catalog

Tue, 25 Mar 2014

Driving a Mini is most definitely an individualistic choice - one that not everyone would get on board with. So if you're going to go with such a fashion statement, you might as well give it your own sense of style. That's where Mini's new line of accessories come in.
Available for the new third-gen Mini hardtop, the accessories offer buyers the opportunity to customize their retro hatchback as best they see fit. There are roof graphics, accessory lighting, wheel upgrades and mirror caps (like the cartoonish ones pictured at right) just like you would have found in the parts catalog for previous iterations of the Mini, but now the brand is offering four appearance kits it's calling Mini Design Lines.
The kits are color coordinated in either Vivid Green, Speedwell Blue, John Cooper Works Pro (in black, red and grey) and Essential Black and include everything from the interior trim to exterior graphics. They might not be to everyone's taste, but that kinda strikes us as the point. Scope 'em out in the extensive high-res image gallery above and the details in the press release below.

2014 Mini Cooper

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone from Mini refer to 'go-kart-like handling,' I'd be retired, living on a beautiful piece of coastline somewhere in the Caribbean. Perhaps even on the shores of Puerto Rico, where Mini chose to launch its latest Cooper and Cooper S hatchbacks. As with so many frequently used phrases, though, there is indeed some truth to the cliché - while the Mini Cooper has never actually handled quite like a go kart, it has always had a certain directness in its movements, reacting to steering inputs with an immediacy and fervor unlike most any other automobile meant primarily for the street.
Combine those unique driving dynamics with a sense of fun that permeates the entire brand from pre-sales marketing to the actual sales process itself and you end up with a marketplace success. As an ex-Mini owner myself (a 2009 Cooper S Convertible), I can attest to the kinship felt between fellow Mini drivers who share in the knowledge that they are having more fun than the poor appliance-driving masses sharing the highways and byways of these United States. It's no surprise that the style-conscious US continues to be the marque's single largest market year after year.
This enviable brand perception hasn't been attained without its own fair share of flaws, however. Though the quirky design and massively customizable bits and pieces that have made up the Mini brand's interior philosophy since it was reborn in 2001 have proven somewhat endearing, the Cooper Hardtop's ergonomics have always been an unmitigated disaster. Plus, this is a very small car, with a rear seat that's practically uninhabitable by adult-size occupants. While that adjective seemingly goes hand-in-hand with the brand's name, the modern Cooper has never been as ingeniously packaged as its 1959 forbearer, which offered up as much interior space as possible through innovative engineering and minimalist design. Further, parent company BMW has positioned Mini as a premium brand, so the Cooper's diminutive size has never equated to low prices. And for being such a small car, the Cooper historically hasn't been well-known for its fuel efficiency.

Mini apologizes with chocolate rose after spamming customer's inbox

Thu, 31 Jan 2013

If you're a manufacturer, there are only so many ways you can say "sorry" after your automated e-mail system goes berzerk and spams everyone on your mailing list with hundreds of the same message. Mini recently found itself in that very spot, and rather than respond with a sheepish mea culpa, the company's PR team took a different tack by sending owners a very unique gift box. How unique? Inside, one owner found a set of chocolate roses, a roll of duct tape and a genuine can of Spam.
In an accompanying note, the company said it hoped the sweets would help patch things up between the company and the victims of the e-mail barrage, but in the event that wasn't enough to do the trick, the duct tape was there to help out. And the can of Spam? That tagged along just for stress release. Apparently the canned meat is squeezable. We wouldn't know. You can check out full photos of the gift box here.
