You are looking at a 2010 Mini Cooper Hardtop with the remainder of a Mini Maintenance Program Upgrade Agreement good for 72 months (April 2016) or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first, and transferrable to the new owner, a copy included with the sale. It has been a fun ride, never abused, always enjoyed, always garaged. It has a John Cooper Works tuning kit installed at the factory, including a free flow intake and exhaust, with reprogramming giving a total horsepower of 190, up from stock of 172. There are no dents or scratches. All scheduled maintenance has been done at Crown Mini of Richmond under the maintenance agreement, and all records come with the vehicle, including the original shipping updates showing when it left the factory in Southampton, England and the shipping vessel progress to the States. Last month the front brake pads and rotors were replaced and oil changed, all under warranty. The battery was replaced in February. The Carfax is clean. This Mini has all options, including: leather lounge carbon black seats with white piping (rare), Convenience Package (garage-door opener, keyless entry, auto-dimming rear view mirror, intermittent wipers with rain sensor, auto headlights, and bluetooth with a USB port), Cold Weather Package (power folding, heated mirrors, headlight washer jets, and heated seats), Premium Package (dual pane panoramic sunroof, auto climate control, and Harmon/Kardon premium sound with 10 speakers- sounds great!), Sport Package (17"alloy spoke wheels, xenon headlights, dynamic traction control, and white turn signals), chrome line interior, bonnet stripes, and center armrest. Added later were a fumed amboyna burl wooden shift knob (original saved), carbon fiber interior door handles, mud flaps, NM hi-flow intake and discharge turbo pipes, and an NM front shock tower stabilizer. A SiriusXM radio mount is installed and will accomodate an XpressRCi radio. The original tires were replaced with Continental Extreme Contact non run-flat tires 14,000 miles ago and have been rotated to maximize tread life. Paint seal renewal has been applied twice since purchase. In short, I am pleased to offer this car to a qualified buyer who will take care of it as I have, and you have the confidence of worry-free ownership under the remainder of the maintenance agreement.
A deposit of $1000.00 must be made to Paypal within 24 hours of the auction close. Out-of-state payment balance must be wired to my bank within 72 business hours at which time a clean title will be sent or produced to the buyer. Mini prices new Cooper Hardtop from $19,950* as configurator comes online
Thu, 30 Jan 2014As surprised as the face of the new 2014 Mini Cooper makes the model look, customers shopping for the third-gen hatchback won't be surprised at all come spring. When the Hardtop goes on sale, it will not only offer a similar design to the outgoing model, it will also have a familiar price with a starting MSRP of $19,950 (*plus $795 for destination).
That price is for the base, third-generation model with the company's new 134-horsepower, 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine, and that MSRP amounts to a $250 increase over the 2013 Cooper. Looking for a little more power? The 189-hp Cooper S will go on sale at the same time, starting at $23,600 - just $300 more than last year's model.

Last chance to order an R56 Mini Hardtop
Fri, 02 Aug 2013Mini will be ending custom orders of the current R56 Cooper Hardtop ahead of the retooling process for the new F56 Mini. That means owners who aren't enamored with what they've seen of the model's new look but still want a personalized version of the tossable hot hatch had best get down to their local Mini dealership and submit their order post-haste.
According to Mini enthusiast site Motoringfile, all orders must be submitted by August 28 in order to get a custom build. Orders are also locked in after that, so if you do get one of the spots, make sure you're absolutely content with the car you order. This cutoff will affect all models of the Hardtop, including the John Cooper Works model.
After August 28, owners will need to wait for the new Hardtop to arrive, which Motoringfile estimates will be in March of 2014. If you miss out on this final allocation of hardtops, all is not lost, however. Mini will still accept personalized orders on other bodystyles, which won't be replaced by F56-based models for some time.
2013 Mini John Cooper Works GP will start at $39,950*
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Get your wallets ready, folks. The 2013 Mini John Cooper Works GP arrives this fall, and we've now learned that the cost of entry for the potent little hatchback is $39,950, (*) including $700 for destination.
Aside from an adorably tough appearance, that just-under-$40,000 price tag gets you a whole host of performance goodies, including a turbocharged four-cylinder engine good for 218 horsepower and as much as 207 pound-feet of torque. No, that isn't any more oomph than what you get in the standard JCW Hardtop, but there's a whole lot more to the GP kit. For starters, there's a fully adjustable coilover suspension, not to mention a reduction in overall weight - at 2,558 pounds, the GP is 121 pounds lighter than a normal John Cooper Works Hardtop.
A Mini spokesperson confirmed to Autoblog that the JCW GP can only be purchased one way, and will be offered as an option package on the standard John Cooper Works Hardtop. Its starting price represents a $5,150 increase over a standard JCW model, and is the most expensive model in the Mini range (the next being the $35,550 John Cooper Works Countryman).
