This shinny Black Mitsubishi Montero is in amazing condition on the interior and exterior. There is of course a few scratches and small dents, to be expected considering the age of this vehicle.I defiantly think its of above average condition and under average for the mileage for a 2001. The engine runs smoothly without any hesitation with 20 MPG. The brakes work good, also I had new tires put on 3 months ago with great tread life remaining. I am setting the reserve cheap at $2,500, well below Kelly Blue Book and is also rated 9.6 out of 10 for reliability and drive ability based on sunsumer feedback. This Mitsubishi Montero sport would make a great vehicle for any one who is in need of a great SUV that would be reliable and spacious, turn key ready! I drive my 3 beautiful children around in it daily without any worry. I almost forgot, on the right side mirror is missing the glass and could be fixed easily at auto zone for cheap. 2014 Pikes Peak Hill Climb Practice Day 1
Wed, 25 Jun 2014This year the big news about the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is about who isn't showing up. Sebastien Loeb, fresh off his record setting run last year, hasn't bothered coming back (and probably won't unless someone breaks his record). The Millen family is also noticeably absent. Rhys and Rod have been driving here for the past couple of decades but it looks like Rhys is focusing his efforts on Global RallyCross.
Last year Pikes Peak added a fourth practice day on Tuesday to allow drivers to get more time on the mountain. It's an optional practice day, but most drivers show up.
Today, both Time Attack divisions (1 and 2) as well as Unlimited division drove the lower third of the mountain. Pikes Peak Open, Open Wheel, Electric Production, Electric Modified, Exhibition and Vintage all practiced on the middle section, and bikes power sports did the top section.
Mitsubishi to offer new Galant, Montero in US?
Wed, 03 Apr 2013We admit it - we've been skeptical about Mitsubishi's fortunes here in the US for a long time now, and this month's reveal of the 2014 Mirage subcompact at the New York Auto Show didn't do much to quell our consternation. Yes, the Mirage should attract a certain portion of the buying population based on what will likely be the best fuel economy figures in its segment and a low price, but the profitability of basic small cars is limited even under the best of circumstances. Mitsubishi is clearly going to need something meatier in its portfolio if it wants to get back on track financially.
Help appears to be on the way. According to The Detroit Free Press, Masatoshi Hasegawa, the company's executive vice president here in North America, has confirmed that at least two more models are destined for the company's US dealerships, and it looks like they're going to be entries into higher-volume, higher-margin segments. Hasegawa pledges that the company will overhaul its lineup over the next two to three years, and one of them will be a successor to the often-ignored Galant, a midsize sedan we last saw for the 2012 model year.
And what of the other model? Apparently it will be an unnamed "bigger brother" for the new 2014 Outlander, an acknowledgment that suggests Mitsubishi is considering bringing its Montero/Pajero SUV back to the States. Earlier this month, we heard a report that a next-generation model for the venerable off-roader remains a few years out, but it's possible Mitsubishi might import the current aging model before the new one is produced. A big shift is said to be in the works for the fifth-generation model, with a massive weight loss and possible plug-in hybrid variant tipped as top goals for the program.
