Black 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8 (VIII). It has 65k miles with less than 10,000 miles for most parts with an Evo 9 turbo. Runs great, no issues. Tuned (both e85 and 93 gas (pump tune is not refined and would recommend a local tune) with map switching) and had parts installed at Evolution Dynamics. Receipts for parts and work available. Tuned at 28lbs e85, and 24lbs pump gas. Pulls hard, and reliably... its my daily driver :) 60k mile major service already done (timing belt and components, as well as fluids).  Cosmetically is 7/10, Engine and Transmission is 9/10. Rebuilt title. Feel free to call or text 214-810-3239.

The Good:
Engine
-Evo 9 turbo
-HKS 272 Cams
-ETS 3.5" FMIC
-ETS 3" piping with t-bolt clamps

-Timing belt job with all OEM components (completed less than 500 miles ago)
-Hard intake with K&N filter

Transmission
-ACT clutch
-Shep Racing stage 1 Transfer Case with LSD
-Torque Solutions shifter linkage bushings

Fuel
-FIC 1450cc Injectors
-Walbro 255 pump

Exhaust

-3" Stainless Steel Megan Racing test pipe
-3" HKS catback exhaust
-Muse O2 dump
-Ported exhaust manifold

Braking

Suspension

-Greddy shift knob
-New AC Condenser
-New fender liner (sitting in box ready to put on)
-Still have the wing, no clearcoat peel, but is graphite grey, not black
-Have a cracked carbon fiber lip, never got around to buying another one

The Bad:
-Rear Tein coilovers are blown, ready to be shipped for repair, have 2 KYB struts and lowering springs in the rear for the time being (slight fender rub, fully driveable as is)
-AC needs work, kicks on, but air is not cold
-Slight exhaust clunk, likely just needs a hanger welded
-Cosmetic issues (road rash on hood, scratches on bumpers, rock chips, strips that run front front to back on roof have broken clips-I have the new clips but haven't put them on)
-Rough head liner (best to re-upholster it)

Selling as-is with no warranty implied or stated.  No returns or refunds.  I urge all bidders to call or text me (214-810-3239) to talk through questions, concerns, and details BEFORE bidding and setup time to drive it if you like BEFORE the listing ends.  The car has a rebuilt title.  It was rear-ended roughly 3-4 years ago and has been repaired.  No electrical or water leaks as a result of it.  I've owned it for almost 2 years and have never been had any accidents and have not experienced any issues besides stated above.  Most banks will NOT finance a rebuilt car.  I have it listed outside of eBay as well and reserve the right to sell it and cancel this listing.

Mitsubishi Mirage bows in Montreal without a name, Canadian sales promised

Sun, 20 Jan 2013

The Detroit Auto Show had plenty of major debuts for North American car buyers, but the Montreal Auto Show is being used for the North American debut of a new subcompact hatchback from Mitsubishi. Although this car is unnamed, it is almost identical to the redesigned Mirage we saw back at the 2011 Tokyo Auto Show (and has been on sale in Asian markets such as Thailand since last year), but it is unclear if the car will carry this name when it goes on sale for our neighbors to the north starting this fall.
Aside from a slightly less annoying shade the of green we saw the car painted in at the Tokyo show, there are a few changes made for the car's Canadian debut. The biggest difference is that it is almost three inches longer, which is likely a result of the new rear fascia that is also visually different with some altered lines and small, circular reflectors. Other changes include a bigger three-cylinder engine (with a 1.2-liter displacement instead of the Tokyo car's 1.0-liter engine) and headlights that have new amber lenses for side reflectors.
There is still no word as to whether or not we'll see this new car in Mitsubishi's US lineup anytime soon, but it does seem like a good competitor against cars like that Mazda2, Chevrolet Spark and Hyundai Accent.

Mitsubishi Attrage brochure reveals additional looks, info

Thu, 23 May 2013

If you're keen to get a closer look at the upcoming Mitsubishi Attrage global sedan, we've got good news for you. A handful of brochure images have made their way to the web courtesy of IndianAutosBlog.com, complete with driveline details. The compact car looks to have its teeth set on taking a chunk out of the Nissan Versa. The Attrage will launch in Thailand with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine good for 76 horsepower coupled to either a five-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission. The combination should yield a range of around 570 miles with an 11 gallon tank. We'll save you the math: that's over 50 miles per gallon, though we wouldn't be surprised to see a more powerful, less efficient engine show up on the US-spec model. Buyers can also enjoy snazzy 15-inch alloy wheels.
Expect to find a rearview camera, push-button start, Bluetooth audio and automatic climate control indoors. This information gives us a pretty good idea of what we can expect from the car once it touches down here in the US, though final details - including powertrain - remain likely to change somewhat.
