1988 Mitsubishi Starion .... 72,413 Miles ... 100% Original ... I Drove this car until 2 years ago when my daughter got her license and she wanted this car ... I haven't started it since.....
You can tell by the pictures that there is NO RUST in this car ... the interior can be described as INMACULATE for a 25 year old car ...Everything in this car works the way is supposed to.
Im selling all my toys because i not longer have time to play ... I'll be selling in the next week ...2 1988 Isuzu impulse turbo - 1 1983 Delorean - 1 1989 Chevy silverado ...
The engine runs as a new car and the turbo works100% ... If you are looking at this you know these cars are fast ... They were ahead of their time in power and technology ... There is even a MUTE button on the steering wheel that i wis i had in my 2013 RR
The paint is in decent shape .. exepct in the plastic parts (bumpers) where is peeling ..., but again this is a 25 years old car.
I have the Front air Damm (unpainted) which is included in this Auction ...
NOW THE BAD ... The last time i drove this car .. the transmition started to slip .. that's way i decided not to give it to her ...Dont know how serious it is. That and that your probably need to get new tires are the only thing wrong with this car.

Race Recap: 2014 Pikes Peak Hill Climb
Mon, 30 Jun 2014The weather didn't interrupt the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb this year, the sun staying out to shine throughout a mildly cloudy day. The crowds didn't interrupt the race, either. Last year there were incidents like the woman who leaned so far into the road that her camera tore a hole in a speeding Shelby Cobra and she had to be sent to the hospital. This year the organizers shrank the number of spectator viewing areas and put others behind fences, such that long stretches of the route were uninhabited by anything other than varmints.
The only unexpected visitor was a dusty track and what some competitors said were slightly higher temperatures that changed the amount of grip and increased times. Yet the calm let a couple of teams, like that sun, break through the clouds of past misfortune and claim victories they'd been targeting for years.
Mitsubishi's all-electric Pikes Peak challengers are in it to win it
Sun, 30 Jun 2013With a second-place finish already in the books from 2012, there's only one thing on the minds of Mitsubishi drivers Hiroshi Masuoka and Greg Tracy: winning. As the presenting sponsor for the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, there's no doubt the Japanese manufacturer is hoping for a good showing this year, and the video you'll see below explains how Mitsubishi changed things this year to help ensure a win... basically, more power and more downforce.
Winning in 2013 certainly won't be easy. With competitors that include Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima and Rod Millen, who's driving for Toyota, winners in 2012 in the Electric class. Our own Jonathon Ramsey sat down and spoke with the boys from Mitsubishi, and found that, if not for the over-the-top presence from Peugeot, the the all-electric MiEV Evolution II (which may be a sort of test-bed for potential Lancer Evolution-of-the-future components) may even be capable of challenging for the overall victory.
Their target: nine minutes and thirty seconds. We'll see how close they get later this afternoon. Scroll down below to watch the video.
Even Consumer Reports is savaging the Mitsubishi Mirage
Tue, 24 Jun 2014When we reviewed the 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage a few months ago, we absolutely hated it. Our conclusion was that if you needed a car in this segment to either pay a few hundred dollars more for a Chevy Spark or spend less for an entry-level Nissan Versa. Basically, avoid this Mitsubishi at all costs. It turns out that we weren't the only ones who despised it. Consumer Reports can often find something positive about just about any vehicle, but even the usually gentle publication struggles to find compliments when it comes to the Mirage.
It's most serious gripe concerns the model's handling. CR describes the way that the Mirage wallows around turns with tons of body lean even at low speeds as "scary." A little car with a curb weight of 2,051 pounds just shouldn't corner this poorly.
While Consumer Reports definitely has no love when it comes to the 2014 Mirage, finding something to dislike about practically every aspect of the vehicle from its powertrain to the interior, the reviewers do end up digging out one positive aspect. You'll have to scroll down and watch the video to find out what it is.
