Condition
I have clear PA title in hand. Car has valid PA inspection and registration. It has small oil and coolant leak. It lived most of life in Phoenix, AZ. Very little rust. Power windows, door locks - everything works. Bone stock interior and exterior (has dark window tint). Interior is in great shape - no tears or stains. Exterior has various scrapes and scratches - no dents. Although this car is inspected and runs fine - it's a project car! I don't consider it a daily-driver. If you don't know what a project car is, don't bid! If you expect to be driving this car to work, don't bid!

Forgot to mention: Air conditioner does not blow cold. Condenser was punctured while removing engine, lost refrigerant. However, BRAND NEW CONDENSER INCLUDED IN AUCTION! I have just not installed it. Easy install, but have to drain coolant and remove rad.

Mitsubishi CEO vows to stay in US on heels of Suzuki's departure

Wed, 07 Nov 2012

By now, you're surely aware that Suzuki is pulling out of the US market. It was a bit of a foregone conclusion to most who've been paying attention to the automotive realm, but it still sent a small shockwave through the industry. And one of the most oft-heard retorts goes something like this: "Next up: Mitsubishi."
It's easy to understand why many question Mitsubishi's existence in the States. After all, now that Suzuki is gone, Mitsubishi is the Japanese automaker with the fewest sales in America. Furthermore, the automaker's market share has dropped from .7 percent to just .4 percent after seeing sales fall 29 percent to 50,103 units through October.
In any case, Mitsubishi fans needn't worry. Speaking to Automotive News, Mitsubishi President Osamu Masuko said, "We have no intention whatsoever of withdrawing from the US market." That's about as clear as clear can get. It's also worth mentioning that Gayu Uesugi was just named chairman of Mitsubishi Motors North America, and his main responsibility will be to revitalize the brand in the US.

Japanese government chides Mitsubishi over recall delays

Sat, 27 Apr 2013

An official with the transport ministry in Japan has some stern words for Mitsubishi, taking the carmaker to task for not being more proactive and honest about its recalls. An investigation into The Tri-Star last December found Mitsubishi was tardy investigating problems and didn't explain itself forthrightly to the transport ministry about the issues. None of Mitsubishi's actions were illegal, and we should stress that this is a dialogue with Mitsubishi in Japan, not Mitsubishi Motors North America.
The official advised the automaker to, "Come up with plans for improvement, implement them and report them to the ministry." It looks like the company will get more practice than it wants in that department, having to announce another recall for the Outlander PHEV over software and hardware glitches. Those recalls come just after Mitsu finally figured out the problem with overheating lithium-ion batteries that caused a production halt of the plug-in hybrid SUV.
