2015 Lancer Evo X Final Edition #66 Up for sale is my beautiful Evo X FinalEdition model with 12k miles. I'm regretting this as I type it up. This isan amazing Car inside and out. If you ever owned an Evo or every got caughtstaring at one, here is your opportunity to own 1 of 1600 produced for the year2016. The FE models are the last of the Lancer Evolutions and they leave therelegend behind. I picked this one up on Christmas Eve of 2015 and drove it offthe show room floor. I owned a 06 Evo IX years ago and have missed it ever sinceI sold it. So when the opportunity for me to get a a hold of not just anotherEvo, but a Final edition came around....I jumped right on it! This car has beentaken care of from day one. From weekly washes to nobody eating or smoking inthe car. I've changed the oil 3 times, last being on June 1. Being a FinalEdition I wanted it to go out with a bang so I added bolt on performance and aretune on 93octane. I wanted to leave the motor untouched as well asclutch/tranny incase the car gets reverted back to stock for resale down theroad. Listed below is everything I added or changed from factory. Every bolt oni could slap on other then turbo was added. The car now makes 343whp at 28psi.(close to 400hp) on stock turbo and was tuned at Mach V in Sterling VA. Keep inmind this is a low reading dyno and the stock tune only made 276 whp (306hpfactory claim). Included will be most of the stock parts but not all, check withme for details if need be. NEW TIRES!!! now installed with 4 wheel alignmentFactory Optional System Package (Navigation System With HighDefinition 7" Touch Screen, Real Time Traffic, 3D Mapping, and Mapcare)ACCYWheel Locks Cosmetic upgrades35% tint front/back windowsWeather tech rainguardsVortex generator (nice not cheap) painted to match factory roofBlacked outfront hood scoop

2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport recalled over brake lamps

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

Mitsubishi is recalling certain 2013 Outlander Sport models for a couple of brake-related reasons. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the brake lamps may illuminate continuously or intermittently. On top of that, the NHTSA report states that the vehicle's shift lever could be moved out of the Park position without depressing the brake pedal.
A total of 4,539 Outlander Sport models are being recalled for these issues. All of the affected vehicles were built between June 11 and September 11, 2012.
Obviously, both of these issues can be hazardous. If the brake lamps do not illuminate properly, other vehicles may not realize that the car is stopping. And if the shift lever can be moved from Park without touching the brake pedal, the vehicle could roll away unexpectedly.

Mitsubishi boss says US operations may break even next year

Sat, 23 Nov 2013

Mitsubishi has lost money in its North America operations every year since 2007, but in an interview at this week's Tokyo Motor Show, company president Osamu Masuko said, "If things keep going well, it might be the case that we break even this year," Automotive News reports.
A little context: Last month Mitsubishi predicted that it would lower its operating loss in the region to 4-billion yen ($40.7 million) by March 31, the end of the fiscal year, well below the previous fiscal year's operating loss of more than five times that amount. Reflecting that, production at the Japanese automaker's sole North American factory in Normal, Illinois, has grown to 56,630 vehicles through October, compared to 27,339 through the same period last year.
The plant makes the Outlander Sport for the US and for export to markets such as Russia, the Middle East and Latin America. Interestingly, out of the 56,630 Outlander Sports built at the Illinois plant through October, only 20,150 were sold in the US.

Angry dad smashes son's Mitsubishi with Xbox

Fri, 17 Oct 2014

It's normal for parents to get frustrated with their kids sometimes. Moms and dads have high hopes for the success of their brood, and when the youngsters let them down, it hurts. That's not an excuse to be destructive, though. Especially not to the point of destroying a Mitsubishi Montero Sport with an Xbox 360 like in this video.
The clip claims to be about a dad upset that his kid doesn't have a job and stays home playing video games. The guy takes his anger out not just on the console but also his son's car. The Mitsubishi definitely takes its fair share of the punishment here even after the Xbox is broken.
If this were real, it would be a pretty horrifying fight to watch. But while we can't be entirely certain, we're almost positive that this argument is completely staged for a number of reasons. The major one is that the same uploader also has videos with millions of total views of the same "Psycho Dad" dropping an Xbox in a pool, running over games with a lawn mower and taking an axe to a laptop. Furthermore, just looking at the clip itself, people don't generally wait for the other person to stop talking when yelling at each other. It also seems a bit suspicious that the kid directly speaks to the audience at one point.
