I am selling my one of a kind Mitsubishi Mirage. Every aspect of this car has been customized and hundreds of hours of work were put into this vehicle. To start the exterior is painted tangelo pearl house of kolors paint. it has vertical doors front and rear, an auto lock flip flop trunk kit, shaved moldings, lights, and engine bay. the motor was pulled out and completely striped down. All the parts were sent out to the machine shop to be cleaned. The motor was bored out .040" and wiseco pistons and k1 rods were installed. Obx headers a 2.5" exhaust and cold air intake allow the motor to breath better. Inside the car there are 13 TV's. All of them are alpine except for the 11.5" in the middle of the dash. The interior was reupholstered with black sued and orang COACH fabric. the trunk was also redone with matching fabric. The audio system is all JL audio slash series amps, c5 and xr speakers, and w3's in the trunk. Konig retract rims and k-sport suspension make up the suspension system. If you need any additional information please contact me and I will get back to you asap. The car currently needs a starter but I am willing to get it working once payment is received.

The 100,000th EV sold in the US is... a Mitsubishi i-MiEV
Fri, 12 Jul 2013The news here isn't that 100,000 EVs have been sold in the US, although that's quite the accomplishment. It's that the 100,000th car is a Mitsubishi i-MiEV - a car that takes nearly a full day to recharge on a standard outlet and can only travel about 62 miles per charge (according to the car's Monroney).
Jabs at the Mitsubishi aside, the fact that US dealers have moved 100,000 electric cars is made more impressive in that it's only been done since the latest generation of EVs arrived, typified by the Nissan Leaf, Ford Focus Electric and aforementioned i-MiEV. Chronologically, that means roughly the last two years. It's a number that we can only expect to climb, as EVs gain a stronger foothold among manufacturers and consumers.
Plug In America, an EV advocacy group, crunched the numbers for a contest called #PIA100K, to find the lucky buyer, who would be given a ClipperCreek Level 2 charger (which takes the i-MiEV's recharge time down to just seven hours). The winner, Rich Salmon of Grand Bay, Alabama, picked up his i-MiEV from Pete Moore Mitsubishi.
Mitsubishi Mirage configurator is alive
Thu, 03 Oct 2013Well, here's the butter knife Mitsubishi is bringing to the subcompact gun fight. It's called the Mirage, and its configurator has just gone live on Mitsubishi's consumer page, allowing those that absolutely must have a brand-new car for not a lot of money (and have never heard of the Nissan Versa, Mazda2, Chevrolet Spark or Ford Fiesta) to build their perfect example.
Prices start at $12,995 for a base DE model with a five-speed manual transmission and $14,195 for the up-market ES with the same transmission. A 74-horsepower, 1.2-liter engine is the sole powerplant. Both trims feature a continuously variable transmission for an extra $1,000 and a range of eight exterior colors, while black is the sole interior color.
Fully loaded with all the assorted packages - there are 10 on the ES model, adding things like navigation, a backup camera and LED ambient lights - the Mirage checks out at $19,540. Feel free to have a go at the configurator yourself.
