If you have less then 25 feedback please do not bid unless you call us first. Up for auction is this 1984 Nissan 300 ZX  50th anniversary car. The description is probably going to be more like a novel but I want the potential buyer to be aware of what he or she is purchaseing so please bear with us. If you are a purist and a conisure of fine original automobiles then please read on. This car belongs to a good friend of mine who I have known for over 30 years. He owns a few antique automobiles and is a fanatic about the care , maintainance and storage of his vehicles. He purchased this car brand new from Tibbetts Pontiac, Cadillac and Nissan that used to be just around the corner from me. This is the rare 1984 Nissan 300 ZX 50th Anniversary edition. They made a total of 5000 units that year 4000 with standard trans and 1000 with automatic. This is one of the 1000 built. The car has only 12,725 miles . It is absolutely in perfect original condition since day one. You really need to see the car in person as the pictures do not do the car justice. The sun was out bright when I took the pics but he will not bring the car out even if it's cloudy so if you are in the area you really need to come take a look. This car has every conceivable option that was available on the Anniversary car. We have the original window sticker , all original paper work  both original showroom  brochures etc. The car came with a factory nose bra that was never installed and still in the Nissan factory box. Has the factory Anniversary car cover with original box. Has the spare bulb and fuse packet, full shop manual, t-top bag holders, extra factory gold keys, and spare 50th Anniversary gold badge. If you need a list of all the options just give me a call or email me as it is way to much to list. It does have the 80 watt 8 speaker with cassette , bronze mirrored roof panels , leather interior, auto temp and air conditioning, 3.0 turbo charged V-6  to name a few.Even has the original 16" Pirelli P7 tires mounted on the gold accent alloy wheels. This car has been babied and pampered  for the last 30 years. I dare say that this is probably one of the lowest mileage 1984 Anniversary cars on the planet. I can't say enough of how nice this car is . Mint original interior and exterior. Cliff is 84 years old now and said it's time to let something go . He is an ex -airplane pilot and has a few stickers in the windows that can easily be removed. He has the original Maine title in his name so we can do a transfer very smoothly. If you have ever wanted one of these cars and are looking for the best then you have found it. It is nothing shy of collector quality. We may consider a buy it now price . Please feel free to call or email for more info or pics 207-324-5568 days or 207-432-2862 eves and Sundays.

First new Datsun in decade sketched, set for Indian reveal

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

Nissan's Datsun nameplate revival will begin with two models bound for the Indian market. Nissan has released sketches of a five-door hatchback based on the Micra (codenamed K2) and a top-down view of a hood that could potentially be from a sedan.
The company's press release says all will be revealed on July 15 in New Delhi, India. The Datsun lineup will be first offered in 2014 to that country's ride-deprived residents as well as Indonesia and Russia. Later in 2014, South Africa will join the list.
We've heard Nissan plans for Datsuns to share platforms with company-owned Lada. In January, we heard the projected price tag could be around $3,000 USD to compete with Chinese imports. The official press release (which can be read in full below) says nothing about either of these reports, however.

Nissan reveals new Qashqai crossover for Europe

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

Between the Juke, Rogue, Murano, Xterra, Pathfinder and Armada, Nissan offers a wide variety of crossovers and SUVs in this market. And that's not even counting the trucks, vans and Infiniti crossovers. But in the European market, it all comes down the Qashqai. Not that Nissan doesn't offer other crossovers in Europe, it's just that the Qashqai has, since its introduction in 2007, accounted for the lion's share, with over two million sold globally (of which 1.5 million were in Europe). And now, after teasing it repeatedly, Nissan has introduced the all-new model.
Larger, sleeker, more advanced, more comfortable and more environmentally friendly than the model it replaces, the new Qashqai is designed in Europe, for Europe, and hits the market at the start of the new year. It's the first European model to be based on Renault-Nissan's new Common Alliance Platform that will eventually encompass three Nissan models and 11 Renaults built in locations around the world.
An array of gasoline and diesel engines, ranging from 110 to 150 horsepower, will be available in two- or four-wheel drive configurations, with either a six-speed manual or the type of continuously variable transmission which Nissan champions.

2014 Nissan GT-R squeaks in under $100k*, Murano CrossCabriolet priced, too

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

Another year, another price hike for the ridiculously awesome Nissan GT-R. When the GT-R was introduced for the 2008 model year, it had a starting price of $69,850, increasing steadily each year up to $96,820 for 2013, and now Nissan has announced that the 2014 GT-R will have a base sticker price of $99,590 (*not including the destination charge, which has not been announced yet).
More than just a simple price hike, the 2014 GT-R gets some upgrades, continuing the model's other longstanding tradition - continuous improvement. While there has been no increase in power, Nissan says the 545-horsepower, twin-turbo V6 now has better response in its mid- and upper-rpm ranges. Nissan has also improved the car's handling, giving it different shock absorbers, springs and a reworked front anti-roll bar, along with "increased body rigidity," though it doesn't specify how the latter is accomplished. The changes are said to lower the coupe's center of gravity and further improve its (already spectacular) handling. A few styling tweaks include the addition of a Premium Interior Package offering hand-stitched red leather seats, a color pattern for the steering wheel on the $109,300 GT-R Black Edition and an engraved aluminum plate showing the owner who built their car's engine.
Along with the announcement of the 2014 GT-R, Nissan also released details for the 2014 Murano CrossCabriolet. The big - but not surprising - news is that Nissan has lowered the price of its slow-selling crossover convertible to $41,995, representing a price drop of just over $2,500. Aside from price, model year changes include two new exterior colors and redesigned 20-inch wheels.
