INTERIOR OF CAR IS ORIGINAL IN GREAT CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. THE ONLY THINGS ADDED ARE POD GAUGES , BOOST CONTROLLER , SWITCH FOR NOS AND SHIFTER HANDLE. EXTERIOR PAINT HAS SOME SMALL CHIPS AND SOME SMALL DINGS IN HOOD MOSTLY FROM WORK WAS DONE ON IT AND HOOD WAS REMOVED. BACK AREA ABOVE LIGHTS NEED TO BE REPAINTED BLACK. WHITE PAINT STILL LOOKS GOOD ALL SHINED UP. BRAKE LIGHT COVERS ON BACK HAS SOME CRACKS IN THEM , THEY WHERE BOUGHT FROM Z1 4 YEARS AGO I DON’T KNOW WHY THEY CRACKED. GAS FILL COVER WILL NOT OPEN NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED. A/C DOESN’T WORK ? MAYBE JUST NEEDS TO BE CHARGED. THE SUSPENSION SYSTEM WORKS BUT IS GETTING OLD.THE REAR WHEEL STEERING STILL WORKS. T- TOPS DON'T LEAK AND HAVE THE SHADE COVERS AND BAGS TO STORE WHEN OFF. THE CLEAR COAT ON THE VOLK RIMS IS STARTING TO GET FOGGY. THE MOTOR HAS SOME SMOKING PROBLEMS (OIL) , TOP END PROBLEM , HEADS OR VALVES, DON’T REALLY KNOW WHY, THE MOTOR STILL RUNS STRONG, SMOKE WHEN IT STARTS UP , BUT NOT ALL THE TIME. STARTS UP EASY, RUNS COOL, NEW BATTERY. IT GETS GOOD GAS MILAGE 17-19MPG IF YOU DON’T GET INTO THE TURBO. BOOST STARTS AT AROUND 2800 RPM. THE Z SOUNDS NICE ,HAS HKS BLOWOFF VALVES, AND IF THE CATS COME OUT SOUNDS EVEN BETTER. PASSES MASS INSPECTION . I HAVE A 2ND MOTOR FOR THE CAR , THAT WILL GO WITH THE SALE ($1,000.00 VALVE ) STOCK MOTOR FROM JAPAN FRONT CUT. ITS A NEWER MOTOR 1995 - 1999 ? WITH 39K ON IT , VG30DETT ENGINE WITH STOCK TURBO STILL BOLTED ON. (300ZX WERE BUILT IN JAPAN TIL 1999.) DOEN’T HAVE A/C COMPRESSOR ON IT. ALSO HAVE ORIGINAL TIRES AND RIMS. |

2013 Nissan GT-R and 2013 Alpina B6 mix it up on track and street

Here we have Autocar making an unforeseen comparison: the Nissan GT-R against the Alpina B6 at Brands Hatch and on public roads. Steve Sutcliffe clobbers the circuit in the 3,828-pound, all-wheel-drive sports car, then sees how well the 4,114-pound, rear-wheel drive grand tourer does against it.
Sutcliffe says there are quite a few similarities between the two cars, but that's really only on the spec sheet. The Nissan's got two turbos attached to its 3.8-liter V6, 542 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. The Alpina's got two turbos attached to its 4.4-liter V8, 532 hp and 528 lb-ft. But one's brief is to be a monster on the track, the other on the boulevard, and if there's anything the video demonstrates, it's each car's focus.

Club to restore amazeballs Datsun Safari Rally Z
Sun, 15 Sep 2013Thanks to the Nissan Restoration Club, a legendary rally car is coming back to life. At the recent Nissan 360 media event, the Japanese automaker announced that its restoration club is bringing the Safari Rally Z back to original running condition. A variant of the Fairlady Z (or Datsun 240Z in the US), the Safari Rally Z has a fastback coupe body and a 215-horsepower inline-six engine. It won East African Safari Rally championships in both 1971 and 1973. The restoration is scheduled for completion this December.
Formed in 2006, Nissan's Restoration Club is comprised of 60 volunteer members who are passionate about Nissan's historic racecars. The club's past restoration projects include the 1964 Skyline racecar and 1947 Tama electric vehicle.
