2004 Nissan 350z Enthusiast Convertible 2-door 3.5l on 2040-cars
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
This a 2004 nissan 350z "enthusiast" convertible I have owned for two years. It was never driven in the winter under my ownership and was kept in a garage when parked. It has been a fantastic car and I am sad to sell it. I maintained the interior/exterior meticulously and have handwashed it with the exception of running it through the soft-cloth carwash on a few occasions.
Includes a Bose surround sound system and navigation, heated seats, and is fully loaded for the 2004 convertible. AC blows cold and all electronics aside from driver side window work fine. I installed new front tires last fall and windshield due to a stone hitting my windshield on the highway. The windows were tinted before I purchased the vehicle and are at 25%. I've never had any issues with the police and the % tint on the windows. Only 10,000 miles have been put on this car during my 2 years of ownership. I recently had it inspected a week ago and they did not have to test emissions because less than 5k was put on the vehicle this year. It's in excellent shape. The following are mechanical or aesthetic defects at the time of my purchase 2 years ago which show normal signs of wear and tear. 1) The front driver side window moves 1 inch downwards every time the door is shut. This is a common issue but I never bothered to fix it since I simply put the window all the way up and turn the car off before closing the door. There are instructions on how to fix it if you choose to do so yourself on 350z forums, or you may take it to the dealer and they'd charge you a couple hundred. It never bothered me enough to ever fix it and really isn't an issue. Please send me a message for any other questions/picture requests and I'll be as responsive as possible. If you live near the Philadelphia area please feel free to come inspect before bidding or official purchase. A non-refundable deposit of $500 must be made through paypal within 48 hours of purchase. The remaining payment can be made via paypal. Feel free to message me a reasonable offer. I will ship to anywhere in the US. The buyer can either pick up the vehicle or I can ship it at the Buyer's responsibility. Kelly Blue book values this car between $13,100 and $14,000. ***No Reserve price set. |

Chrysler, Nissan looking into claim that their cars are industry's most hackable
Sun, 10 Aug 2014A pair of cyber security experts have awarded the ignominious title of most hackable vehicles on American roads to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, 2014 Infiniti Q50 and 2015 Cadillac Escalade.
Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek are set to release a report at the Black Hat hacking conference in Las Vegas, Automotive News reports. The two men found the Jeep, Caddy and Q50 were easiest to hack based not on actual tests with the vehicles, but a detailed analysis of systems like Bluetooth and wireless internet access - basically, anything that'd allow a hacker to remotely gain access to the vehicle's systems.
Considering this lack of hands-on testing, the pair acknowledge that "most hackable" could be a relative term - they point out that the vehicles may actually be quite secure.
First new Datsun in decade sketched, set for Indian reveal
Mon, 01 Jul 2013Nissan's Datsun nameplate revival will begin with two models bound for the Indian market. Nissan has released sketches of a five-door hatchback based on the Micra (codenamed K2) and a top-down view of a hood that could potentially be from a sedan.
The company's press release says all will be revealed on July 15 in New Delhi, India. The Datsun lineup will be first offered in 2014 to that country's ride-deprived residents as well as Indonesia and Russia. Later in 2014, South Africa will join the list.
We've heard Nissan plans for Datsuns to share platforms with company-owned Lada. In January, we heard the projected price tag could be around $3,000 USD to compete with Chinese imports. The official press release (which can be read in full below) says nothing about either of these reports, however.
Nissan BladeGlider Concept shows its inner DeltaWing
Thu, 21 Nov 2013Just like the DeltaWing and ZEOD RC racecars, it takes seeing the Nissan BladeGlider concept live to get a true appreciation for its design. But that doesn't mean it's any less weird. The wedge-shaped, three-seat concept car hit the stage today at the Tokyo Motor Show, and Nissan says the car is an "exploratory prototype" for a future production model.
The BladeGlider is defined by its design with front wheels that are just about three feet apart, while the rear has a more conventional track. Opening the scissor doors reveals a center driving position flanked by two passenger seats with a cockpit-inspired design. Although no power figures were revealed for the conceptual vehicle, Nissan does say that the BladeGlider is an all-electric vehicle with its battery pack mounted toward the rear of the car helping to provide a 30/70 weight distribution front to rear.
Check out our live images of the BladeGlider as well as the Nissan press release below.
