2006 Nissan Armada LE 4x4
Description:  2006 Nissan Armada LE 4x4 SUV for sale by second owner.  84,700 mi on the odometer.  Leather trim, all power options, rear DVD entertainment system, Navigation, running boards, roof rack, auto tailgate, and towing package.  This SUV is very well equipped and also well cared for.

Condition:  I'll let the vehicle condition speak for itself in the pictures.  I've posted ALOT, so please take a good look.  The vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition.  Recent full service and inspection preformed at our local Nissan dealer.  Recent repairs include all 4 wheel bearings, brakes and cat back exhaust completely replaced.  Entire rear suspension was replaced about 10k mi ago, including shocks, air plumbing and also the self leveling pump.  Nissan also replace the rear tailgate lift mechanism, unfortunately I damaged a portion of the rear trim trying to repair it myself which is repaired/covered with some duct tape.  It's not visible with the tailgate shut but it is shown in the pictures. Tires are in good condition with appx 60% tread.  Mechanically the vehicle is ready to go.  There are a number of small paint nicks and scratches.  Overall the exterior is in nice shape, there are no dents or damage.  It's hard to see small scratches in photos so I'll give my best most honest run down.  There are a few rock chips on the hood, the larges is about the size of a dime and there are a handful.  There are a few paint scratches along both sides, but they are shallow and could easily be buffed out.  The front right fender has a scuff along the top corner.  It's about 2" long and it is not through the paint.  Also, the towing hitch has some small surface rust on it.  Anyone is welcome to come and inspect/drive the vehicle anytime, we are not trying to hide anything.  This has been a reliable family car.

Terms:  Shipping is welcomed, but it's on your expense and you need to make the arrangements.  I'll store the vehicle inside for a few weeks if needed ONLY if payment is handled.  This vehicle is sold as is with no warranty or guaranteed.  We welcome questions and test drives, so please feel free to ask.  You will receive a quick honest response.

The reserve on this vehicle is substantially below a conservative KBB value

Nissan New Micra being considered for Canadian market

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

A new story from AutoGuide is triggering new speculation that Nissan may be about to bring its New Micra to North America. According to a dealer-based source, Nissan is showing off the overseas hatchback at Canadian dealer meetings along with the redesigned 2014 Rogue. The report indicates that the car is expected to go on sale sometime mid next year. Autoblog has learned that, while the New Micra is indeed under study for the Canadian market, it is not being considered for US sales. Our well-placed source tells us that bringing the New Micra to US dealers "just wouldn't make sense."
Bringing the New Micra to US dealers "just wouldn't make sense."
Reading between the lines a bit, that's because Nissan already has a robust small car lineup spearheaded by the Versa sedan and new Versa Note hatchback, along with the compact Sentra. And while both Versa models are generously sized for the subcompact classes they compete in, their low entry price (the sedan starts under $12k) means that pricing the smaller Micra underneath it would be difficult. Given its historically significantly higher fuel prices (not to mention higher vehicle prices and a penchant for small cars), Canada seems like a much more hospitable market for the Micra.

Nissan says next Rogue coming September 10

Thu, 22 Aug 2013

The Nissan Rogue has been around since 2007, and after nearly seven years on the market, it's about due for replacement. Which is just what Nissan has announced is coming up next down the pipeline.
The Japanese automaker didn't reveal much to go with this teaser image of the headlight and front fender, saying only that "the all-new 2014 Nissan Rogue will push the envelope of CUV design starting on September 10 when it is unveiled." That's the day on which the Frankfurt Motor Show opens its doors for press previews, so it's pretty safe to say that we'll be seeing it at the Messe.
The news follows the spy shots we brought you two weeks ago. Expect the design to follow the lead set forth by the Hi-Cross concept from Geneva last year, with production to take place in Tennessee.

Nissan Leaf resale value expected to take a hit

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

Nissan Leaf resale values may take a tumble, according to Kelley Blue Book. The vehicle evaluation resource said the 2013 Nissan Leaf will retain around 35 percent of its MSRP after three years; that's down five percent from what KBB gave the 2012 Leaf at the end of 2011. Automotive News reports KBB adjusted the EV's residual value prediction because the used transaction prices for the 2011 model have stuck around 35 percent for the past few months due to relatively cheap gasoline, not to mention the fact that Nissan trimmed the electric's MSRP from $36,050 to $29,650 before the $7,500 tax credit.
Since used buyers are often motivated by more practical buying concerns than early adopters or those wanting to curb their carbon emissions, they may not be willing to pay more for an EV. Meanwhile, early Leaf models are now coming to auction, abandoned by rental car companies after customers shunned them in favor of traditional internal-combustion vehicles. Many of those at auction have less than 10,000 miles and carry an average transaction price of just $13,700.
