Winfield, West Virginia, United States

This 2005 Nissan Frontier 4X4 is in excellent condition and drives just as it did off the showroom floor.  There is a low reserve on this.  Great truck at a very reasonable price.  The truck has a tow package with a rating of 6500 pounds.  The automatic transmission shifts perfectly, and the four wheel drive engages easily. The suspension and steering are nice and tight. There are four brand new tires on this Truck, and brand new brake pads and rotors. The oil and filter and the air filter were just changed as well. This Truck is ready to be picked up and driven anywhere (I can offer free pickup from the Charleston, WV airport if needed). The Gray Metallic exterior has been very well maintained, and it looks excellent. There are only some stone nicks and there aren’t any dents or scratches on the body of this Truck. The paint has maintained excellent gloss and luster over the entire body. There isn’t any body rust at all, and the undercarriage is clean and in terrific condition. Both of the bumpers are in excellent condition, and the bed is also nice and clean. The alloy wheels look almost like new without any damage.  The interior of this Frontier is fresh, clean, and has been kept well maintained. The carpeting is fluffy and clean throughout this Truck. The seats are all in excellent condition with only minor wear on the driver side. All of the interior trim pieces are intact, tight and in excellent condition without any cracks or damage on the dash or door panels.  The vehicle history report is clean without any accidents or damage history.  This is a really great looking Frontier that runs excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to jump in and drive this Truck anywhere in the country. Brand new tires rugged all terrain P265/75 R16.  As you can see I've added an aftermarket GPS/Back-up Camera/Hands-Free/Bluetooth/DVD player (cost $889).  There are some very minor blemishes that are so small that they did not come out in the pictures (I've taken close ups on the last 2 pictures).  This truck has been paid off and I have possession of the clear title.  The truck has 2 sets of keys with FOBs. Please no trade offers.  Thanks for looking and good luck!!

Nissan buys jalopy Maxima after seeing filmmaker's epic sales ad

Thu, 19 Dec 2013

When Luke Akers wanted to sell his 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE - yes, the one seen above that needs a ratchet strap to keep the front end from bursting with joy - the Florida filmmaker turned on his cameras and yelled "Quiet on set!" The result is a one-minute videographic homage to mankind's monuments, narrated with all the intensity of a BBC documentary to sell a 17-year-old sports sedan that comes "fully loaded with an engine, wheels, tires and an automatic transmission."
Just like the car in question, the ad did its job: Nissan bought the Maxima from Akers and the company donated another $1,000 to his charity of choice. Three cheers to both Akers and Nissan for their work. You can check out the video below, and head to the Ikonik Films site for the humorous print ads that were also part of the campaign.

Nissan Canada offers box-fresh racecar for $19,998 [w/video]

Fri, 17 Oct 2014

Nissan is seriously emphasizing its commitment to motorsports with projects like next year's GT-R LM endurance racer at Le Mans and the company's participation with GT Academy. At least in Canada, the automaker is adding another opportunity to get people onto the track with the new Nissan Micra Cup one-make race series. Sure, the Micra might not as quick as a GT-R, but this series offers Canadians a chance to start racing for a reasonable price. Nissan claims the events have "the lowest running cost of any Canadian series," and we can't think of a cheaper turnkey new racecar in all of North America.
The cars are all based on the not-for-US Micra 1.6 S M/T model with a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine making 109 horsepower and 107 pound-feet of torque and a five-speed manual gearbox. The only real performance upgrades are a Nismo suspension kit, new exhaust, improved brake pads and sticky Pirelli tires. For added safety, the interior is entirely stripped out and is replaced with a full roll cage with a driver protection net, FIA-approved racing seat with five-point harness, fire extinguisher and front and rear tow hooks. The whole, race-ready package will set competitors back $19,998 Canadian dollars before taxes.
The inaugural Micra Cup series begins in May 2015, and the first season is exclusively taking place in Quebec, with the promise of moving to other provinces if it's a success. Each event includes a half hour of practice, a half hour of qualifying and a pair of half-hour races. Nissan is estimating impressive fields of over 25 cars of competitors.

New Nissan Pulsar marks brand's return to the European C-segment [w/videos]

Tue, 20 May 2014

Following a small teaser, Nissan has unveiled its newest entry into the hotly contested European C-segment. Making new use of the Pulsar nameplate, it will attempt to take the fight to market stalwarts, like the Ford Focus, Volkswagen Golf and Vauxhall Astra.
The new five-door will be built on Nissan's modular CMF2 architecture, which also underpins the Euro-spec Qashqai and X-Trail (known in the US as the Rogue). It's a larger vehicle than one of its main challengers, the Golf, riding on a 106.3-inch wheelbase, which is 2.4 inches longer than the VW. It's also longer overall, at 172.6 inches.
The new Pulsar is a moderately powered little five-door, boasting an engine lineup familiar to anyone that knows the Qashqai. A 1.2-liter, turbocharged gas engine offers up 113 horsepower, while those that need a bit more oomph can wait for the late-availability, 187-hp, 1.6-liter turbo that American drivers will know from the Juke crossover. Diesel fans will be able to opt for a 1.5-liter mill that delivers 192 pound-feet of torque and 108 hp. No surprise here, but continuously variable transmissions are the order of the day.
