EBay does not have a category for this car, so I placed it in the closest one available. The GTT is a far better car for drifting/slipping. It's nearly 100% OEM stock including brakes so it's ready for customizing to the buyer's choice and personality. The car is just the absolute best drift car out there. I can't insert links into this listing, but feel free to "google" Blitz upgrades and see how simple tuning and other minor upgrades can turn this RB25 engine to 400hp . Car has excellent compression, does not leak any fluids, no strange or unusual noises, and does not smoke. This car was originally built with an automatic transmission but later professionally converted with a NISMO 5 speed manual. Clutch was changed about a year ago. 3 small holes in the dash cluster contained after market boost control and data logger and have been removed. Back seat appear to not have ever been sat in. Most of the pics were taken on a rainy day, hence the water spots. Exterior is nearly flawless. Rod on front bumper is a parallel parking assist that even lights up at night. It can be raised and lowered from inside the car. Car is offered for sale in Ontario, Canada just across the river from Buffalo, NY. Nissan poaches Ram CEO Fred Diaz
Sat, 13 Apr 2013Nissan has announced that it has hired Fred Diaz as its new divisional vice president of sales and marketing. With the appointment, Diaz unexpected exits his post as president and CEO of Chrysler's Ram brand, a position he has held since 2009 when the brand was created as a separate entity from Dodge. He was also president and CEO of Chrysler de Mexico.
Nissan issued a press released - posted below - in which it says that Diaz's newly formed position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the brand in the US, including such facets as sales, marketing, parts and service, along with administrative matters. In addition, he will lead Nissan's light commercial vehicle and fleet division, likely a key attraction with his Ram background.
Chrysler has yet to name a replacement for Diaz.
Nissan e-NV200 EV charges into Tokyo
Fri, 22 Nov 2013Nissan has already shown its e-NV200 in Detroit and Frankfurt in conceptual form, now its home market is getting an up-close look at the production all-electric compact van at the Tokyo Motor Show. While it doesn't sound like the e-NV200 will be making its way to the US anytime soon, it will go on sale on sale in Europe in the middle of next year and in Japan by early 2015.
The electric NV200 will be built in Barcelona, Spain, and while that EV-minded city has committed to using the van for public transportation, Nissan's hometown of Yokohama, Japan will also put the zero-emission vehicle to work in its public services fleet. Nissan has yet to reveal the production specs for the e-NV200 - including range - we do know that it will share much of its drivetrain with smaller Nissan Leaf. Nissan Leaf becomes least expensive 5-seat EV with massive price drop
Mon, 14 Jan 2013In a roundtable interview today at the North American International Auto Show, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn announced a $6,400 price drop for the base-model 2013 Nissan Leaf. Last year's base model was $35,200, while the new base-level 2013 Leaf S starts at $28,800. Ghosn says the new prices make the Leaf the least expensive five-seater electric for sale in the US.
Some of the lower cost is due to a difference in content from last year's low-end model to this year's. But a sizable portion can be chalked up to the Leaf's production moving from Japan to Tennessee. The 2013 Leaf is not only assembled in the US now, but its lithium-ion batteries and the car's electric motors are manufactured in the same southern state.
The Leaf SV will be priced from $31,820 for 2013 compared to $35,200 last year. The high-end Leaf SL now starts at $34,840, down from the 2012 model's $37,250. These models also have differences in content. One big one is a new 6.6-kWh charger that reduces charging times pretty dramatically.
