97 MAXIMA SE FOR SALE, 260K ORIGINAL MILES, AUTO, LEATHER, FULL POWER, PARTS REPLACED DURING ALL THOSE YEARS...MUFFLER (TWICE), BOTH FRONT STRUTS, DASHBOARD, ENTIRE COOLING SYSTEM - (NEW RADIATOR, HOSES, THERMOSTAT), STARTER, AXEL, ROTORS & PADS, GOOD TIRES. ENGINE AND TYRANNY ARE GOOD. I USE HIGH MILE 10W30 OIL SINCE I OWNED IT AT 189K. ENGINE HAS BEEN RAN THROUGH SEA FOAM AS WELL AS THE INJECTORS. AFTER OIL CHANGE YOU WILL NOTICE IT STAYS CLEANER LONGER. REPLACED THE DOOR HANDLES BECAUSE KEY TO OPEN SIZED UP, ITS BEGINNING TO START AGAIN. CLUSTER WAS REPLACED TO PASS EMISSIONS TROUBLE CODE. COMES WITH 96 SE TRUNK LID BECAUSE OF RUST ON TRUNK, WAS GOING TO REPLACE THIS SUMMER.....HAS RUST & ROT IN COMMON AREAS BUT HAS BEEN TREATED A FEW YEARS BACK, MAY NEED TREATING AGAIN, WINTER SALT IS HARSH. LEAK IN EXHAUST BETWEEN STRAIGHT PIPE END & MUFFLER BEGIN, I PATCHED UP BUT IS LEAKING AGAIN... EMISSIONS DID PASS BUT LIGHT IS BACK ON, SHOULDN'T COST MUCH TO PASS. POWER STEERING HAS A SLOW LEAK SO STAY ON TOP OF IT. A/C DOESNT WORK, THINK I BLEW SOME SORT OF PRESSURE RELEASE BUT DID WORK BEFORE, COMPRESSOR SHOULD WORK. HEAT WORKS BUT IF IT DROPS BELOW 30 IT CANT AS HOT AS I THINK IT SHOULD, NOT SURE WHY.

I KNOW I'M RAMBLING ON ABOUT "PROBLEMS" BUT IF YOU HAVE EVER OWNED THESE CARS YOU KNOW THEY ARE TANKS! IVE OWNED FOUR, 4TH GENERATION MAXIMA'S AND I HAVE NEVER REPLACED MAJOR PART, EVER! SIMPLE COMMON ITEMS, BREAKS, EXHAUST, STARTER, ECT. THE MOTOR WAS DECLARED ONE OF THE BEST EVER BUILT AS A V-6 AND THE CAR WAS A MOTOR TREND CAR OF THE YEAR WHEN IT FIRST DROPPED IN THE MID 90'S. TRULY AN AMAZING VEHICLE, IVE OWNED THEM FOR OVER 10 YEARS NOW, BUT THIS ONE MUST GO.

KBB VALUE OVER $1,500, (I CANT ADD THE LINK BUT YOU CAN CHECK IT OUT)

ALSO, CAR WAS GIVEN TO MY MOTHER, TECHNICALLY THEIR WAS 4 OWNERS, WAS IN OUR FAMILY FOR OVER 4 YEARS.

FORGOT TO MENTION THE RADIO HAS BEEN UPDATED TO BLUETOOTH & USB. ANTENNA IS BROKEN, I PLACED AN INSIDE MOUNT ABOVE THE INTERIOR WINDSHIELD BUT IT DOESN'T WORK WELL. :(  I USE MY IPOD AND PANDORA MORE THAN RADIO SO WASN'T A NUANCE FOR ME.

WILL COME WITH ORIGINAL CLUSTER TO KEEP TRACK OF MILEAGE ON CAR.

2015 Nissan Micra

Mon, 19 May 2014

Several years ago, poutine started showing up on the menus of a number of Detroit-area restaurants. For those unfamiliar with the Canadian specialty, it involves serving up french fries, gravy and cheese curds all in one artery-clogging heap. It's not really my thing, but the comfort-food dish has caught hold here in The D, and many absolutely swear by it. In a country where we happily serve Double Down sandwiches, and where competitive eating qualifies as sport, it's hard to believe le poutine isn't spreading like wildfire.
Given Detroit's proximity to Canada, it's not surprising that this culinary creation has managed to find its way across the border. The same thing goes for cars - we Detroiters are routinely privy to lots of Great White North imports. No, we can't buy not-for-US vehicles like the Nissan X-Trail, Mercedes-Benz B-Class (at least, the gasoline version), or now-discontinued products like the Honda Civic-based Acura CSX or EL before it. But Ontario-plated examples of these cars can be seen all the time here in southeast Michigan - it's a far more common occurrence than you might think.
These days, it's rare that an automaker will introduce a model to Canada without offering it up in the United States - especially a car that stands to do big things for a company's presence in North America. But with this 2015 Nissan Micra, that's exactly what's happened; Nissan's US arm has repeatedly stated that there are no plans to offer the car in Yankeeland. Why is the Micra so important? This five-door hatchback enters Canada with the coveted title of being the most affordable new car in the country: just $9,998 Canadian (CAD) to start. In fact, the Micra launches to our north just as the larger, four-door Versa Sedan is phased out in Canada - a vehicle that holds the lowest-cost title here in the US, at $11,990 USD.

2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo is Japanese for "Zero Competition"

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

It was only a little more than a year ago that we were wondering if there would be a new Nissan GT-R, now here we are writing about the introduction of two of them. Carlos Ghosn himself unveiled the new 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo and the standard-in-name-only 2015 GT-R on which it is based. The Nismo is all about ape-chested mojo, coming with the tagline "Zero Competition," GT3-derived tweaks without and within and a 'Ring time of 7:08.679.
Nissan also brought the actual 'Ring-running car to the event and you'll notice that it has a different rear wing than the two show cars. We were told that the wing on the time-setting car would be available on the car that goes on sale, Nissan intending to keep its "production car" promise.
You can check out the Nismo above in the new Dark Matte Grey exterior hue and in Brilliant White Pearl, as well as the new GT-R, its new Ivory interior and LED light signature below. We haven't written this in a while, so allow us to bring the challenge back: Porsche - your move...
