Up for sale I have a 99 Sentra...I am the 2nd owner as my mom was the first and she bought brand new.....I have had this car for about 2 1/2 years and have had no problems with it what-so-ever.....I will have a few pics with the post and I will also enclose a link for a little video I made and which I posted on youtube....It has 174,444 miles on it currently and when i bought it off my mom, it had only 70,000 miles.....The rest of the mileage was from me and 90% of them was highway related (job related)....The cons (nothing major) are as follows:  The #2 cylinder does have a slight compression problem but overall the car still has plenty of power left in it....#2: You cannot use the key to open the trunk, but you can still use the latch by the seat to open it...#3 it does have some rust spots (Please check out YouTube link at bottom for better walk around of the car) but with somebody work, it will work out fine...The tires do have some tread on them but they wearing out on the outside...The driver side front tire went flat and filled it back up and seems fine...I don't believe it has any holes in the tire just for the fact that the vehicle has been sitting for a little while and never had any problems before...Plus it is just sitting around in  the cold wheather....Also I have a complete set of all season tires that I will give to winning bidder...If you look at the video I posted on youtube, you will see the tread life of the current tires...The other set has just a little more tread to them....You will see the tear in the roof of the upholstery, which was a mistake on my part trying to put in an electrical device...

Everything works on the car like the A/C,heat,power windows/locks, & cruise control works good as well......I did install round foglights (which are powered by a toggle switch)and it worked till about a week ago (i think the wires melted together) and should be easy to fix by new wire...Also installed 2 sets of led lights (which they come on when the parking lights are activated) under the headlights which I bought supposing to be the same color, but after installation, they were a different shade and left them like that being thought it looked good just like that...Also wanted to mention that I had my good friend install a Bulldog Remote Starter in this vehicle which he has installed these things for 10+ years and the remote starter still works very good....I do have 2 remotes for the remote starter, which one works fine and so does the other one but it will need re-programed...Also you will receive 2 factory keys w/remote for keyless entry/panic mode....
The only reason I am selling my car is because I just inherited another car and just don't have the storage and keeping it insured is a little rough on me....

And here is the video link that i posted on youtube....   http://youtu.be/agL5Ie1H-X8
I do have the vehicle listed locally so don't miss your opportunity !!!!

Nissan NV200 Taxi

Thu, 21 Aug 2014

"You're a long way from home!"
When I signed up to drive a pre-production version of the Nissan NV200 Taxi, I expected to have a higher-than-normal level of interaction with the public at large. However, while I was hoping for unsuspecting Ann Arborites to perhaps hail me down, or maybe even get a hop-in when stopped at an intersection, I didn't really think I'd be hassled in parking lots so much. And yet, almost as if all of the Dad-Joke energy in the universe was drawn to my tall, yellow ride, seemingly everywhere I parked I heard some iteration of the phrase above.
Har har, guys.

Meet the Nissan GT-R test driver responsible for 'Ring tuning

Wed, 07 May 2014

Ever wonder what it's like to be a manufacturer's development driver at the Nürburgring? We imagine it's pretty cool. After all, you get to spend your days zooming about the greatest racetrack on the planet in a vehicle that is usually months or more away from consumers. For Hiroyoshi Kato, whose actual title is Technical Meister, life is even better than your typical development driver, because he spends his days wringing out the Nissan GT-R Nismo around the Green Hell.
Kato-san has a long history with both Nissan and the Ring. He had a major hand in the development of the R32, R33 and R34 Skyline GT-Rs, having first come to the Ring nearly three decades ago.
His experience with the Nismo, though, is different than the other vehicles he's contributed to. As he explains it, there are real racers on hand to test the car on the track, like Formula One reserve driver Sébastien Buemi. Instead, Kato focuses on the track-to-road balance. Still, he has some truly interesting insights on the car and the track, including his surprise at turning a sub-eight-minute lap in his first outing. That, along with a few other things (one of which is an R34 being hustled about), make this a must-watch video from Nissan.

Nissan recalling 2012-14 Frontier pickups over fire risk

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

Nissan is recalling its Frontier pickup over fire concerns, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration bulletin. A total of 13,535 vehicles are being recalled, all from the 2012 to 2014 model years, built between November 28, 2012 and December 27, 2013.
The NHTSA report states that "in the affected vehicles, a circuit breaker may have been installed incorrectly causing the main wire harness connected to the circuit breaker to face outward, potentially contacting a metal bolt located on the A-pillar." If this happens, it's possible that "the bolt may wear though the wire harness covering, resulting in an electrical short," NHTSA states. In the event of an electric short, a fire may occur.
The official recall will begin in March, where Nissan dealers will inspect the circuit breaker for the correct orientation, and if necessary, repair the vehicles, free of charge. Scroll down for the full NHTSA bulletin.
