PJ Auto Inc presents 2011 Nissan Sentra 2.0 SR in blue metallic with gray cloth interior and 16K miles. This vehicle is powered by a 2.0L, dual overhead camshaft (DOHC), sequential fuel injection (SFI), 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine with automatic Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). Additionally, this vehicle is front-wheel drive. It is loaded with safety features like front ventilated disc/rear drum brakes, dual-stage driver& front passenger frontal airbags, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, front & rear roof-mounted side-impact curtain airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, power windows, power lock, A/C, CD player and floor mats. This Sentra was previously in an accident and it therefore has a rebuilt title. It looked like a rear end damage and there was absolutely no wheel suspension damage. We replaced the rear bumper, LH and RH taillight, LH and RH quarter panel, trunk lid and the rear end panel with original OEM parts. All parts were then painted and now perfectly match the original blue color. All of the repairs were done in our own facility, therefore I can guarantee complete satisfaction. Following the repairs the car went through state required safety and quality inspections and as usual came out flawless. You can be confident that there wont be any leaks, or tweaks in your alignment. In fact I can guarantee that you will not be able to tell that there was any work don't on this Sentra. NA auto output to reach 11-year peak

Thu, 13 Jun 2013

According to Automotive News, automakers are expected to manufacture 16 million light vehicles in North America in 2013. That's up 500,000 units from last year and marks the largest number since 2002. The prediction comes courtesy of LMC Automotive and IHS Automotive, which point to the improving US economy as a bellwether for total production. LMC Automotive says North America will produce 16 million vehicles while IHS has a slightly more optimistic forecast of 16.1 million units. A total of seven automakers are slated to increase production on the continent this year. Nissan is set to see the largest jump at 20 percent over last year.
Volkswagen, meanwhile, is one of the only manufacturers predicted to scale back production. Analysts expect the German company's output to fall by 23 percent to 170,000 units, thanks in part to slow demand for the Volkswagen Passat and Jetta.

Nissan's Nismo celebrates 30th year with video retrospective

Tue, 23 Sep 2014

Nismo, the motorsports and high-performance arm of Nissan, has a lot of racing success to celebrate in its history and possibly even bigger accomplishments to look forward to. The company is commemorating its 30th anniversary with a video looking back at its most important milestones from each year of its past.
Nismo's job first and foremost at its genesis was to excel at motorsports. It wasn't too long after the division was founded in 1984 that the company made its first of many attempts to take an overall victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It never quite succeeded in that goal, but still managed to do well in long-distance competition elsewhere. At the same time, Nismo was racking up wins in touring car races in Japan.
Eventually, the division's engineers started dipping their toes into tuning road cars, in addition to going racing. What began as something sporadic has become a growing part of the Nissan lineup with Nismo-branded models of the 370Z, Juke, Note in Europe and the GT-R.

Andy Palmer leaves Renault-Nissan to serve as CEO of Aston Martin

Tue, 02 Sep 2014

Aston Martin has been without a helmsman since Ulrich Bez stepped down from the chief executive office at the end of last year, stepping back to serve as non-executive chairman in a semi-retired ambassadorial capacity. The British automaker, now on the cusp of a new era, has been running without a CEO since, but has now named Bez's replacement in Andy Palmer.
If you don't recognize the name, you should: Palmer has worked under the Renault-Nissan Alliance for decades now, rising through the ranks to become one of the top executives under Carlos Ghosn. Most recently he was serving as executive vice president of the entire group and chairman of the Infiniti brand, but like Carlos Tavares, who recently left Renault to run Peugeot, Palmer is now embarking on a new mission as CEO of Aston Martin.
Once the transition period is complete at the start of October, Palmer's role as Chief Planning Officer at Renault-Nissan will be assumed by Philippe Klein, who steps up from his current role as executive vice president of product planning for Renault. Read the statements from both companies below.
