For sale is my 2005 Nissian Titan King Cab with the OFF ROAD package. Off Road extra features are locking rear differential, factory cooler on the rear, heavy duty suspension on the rear axle, and a locking tool box in the wheel well of the rear driver's side tire.
I also had my mechanic install a aftermarket transmission cooler for towing the 26ft camping trailer to the beach. It did fine until you would pull up a long hill then the trans gauge would run high but after installing the aftermarket cooler the gauge barely goes up anymore. This truck is in good condition but is not perfect. There are several small scratchs and one or two small dents on this truck. Tires are in great condition with 90% tread life still left. This truck drives perfectly and I never had any problems with the engine, transmission or transfer case.
This truck has been serviced and had the oil changed every 3,000 miles by my mechanic. It also just had a fresh oil change before the listing. It also is inspected till 7/13.
This truck was only in 1 accident to my knowledge, a women rear ended me with a small car. Thanks to my ball hitch it only bent the rear bumper and was fixed immediately by the body shop.
This truck has a tiny exhaust leak that you only can hear on a cold morning when you start the truck and within a minute it goes away. My mechanic doesn't recommend fixing it until it no longer goes away after several minutes. He said it only would require a couple minute weld at a muffler shop to fix the problem. It's not a big deal but I want to be honest with what I'm selling.
The letters on the truck were removed to get the truck detailed and I did not put them back on but I will send them with the buyer.
This truck is for sale localy so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
If you have any questions or would like to drive the truck please call 717-381-7964.

2015 Nissan GT-R updated with new lights, more refined ride
Tue, 19 Nov 2013The Nismo version of Nissan's high-tech supercar may be getting most of the headlines today, but we shouldn't forget that the car on which it's based, the garden-variety GT-R, has been significantly updated for 2015, as well.
What Nissan engineers focused on for the new model year was making the GT-R a more well-rounded GT car. That means dialing some more compliance into the car's very firm suspension for a more comfortable ride, as well as lightening up the steering at low speeds to make urban maneuvering easier. The braking calibration has also been changed to be more linear and smooth when slowing from normal, everyday speeds. Does this mean the GT-R has gone soft? We'll reserve judgment until we drive it, but Nissan claims the new refinements giving the car "multi-dimensional performance."
The GT-R also gets new lighting technology for 2015, including multi-LED headlights that lend the car a new light signature at night, and the LED taillight rings are now complete circles instead of rings of dots. The headlights are also now controlled by an Adaptive Front Lighting System, which sounds similar to other systems that aim light where the car is being turned, but Nissan's system adjusts the angle of the lights depending on vehicle speed - at higher speeds the lights are angled to project their illumination further.
Daimler consulting with Ford about 3-cylinder engines
Mon, 27 May 2013Soon enough, Ford will offer its 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine under the hood of the Fiesta here in the United States, building on the success of the small powerplant overseas. In fact, this success has caused other automakers to take notice, and according to Automotive News Europe, Daimler is now talking to Ford about this engine for use in its own products.
In other markets, Ford offers the 1.0-liter mill under the hood of the Focus (we had the chance to sample this package on our home turf), as well as the B-Max MPV. For this new collaboration, Daimler would use the turbo-three in the next-generation Smart ForTwo, as well as the Renault Twingo, which the German automaker will be collaborating on as part of its alliance with Renault-Nissan. Speaking to AN, a Mercedes-Benz engineer called the 1.0-liter mill an "interesting and impressive engine."
In exchange for details about the EcoBoost inline-three, Daimler will supply Ford with information regarding its Euro6 stratified lean-burn gasoline engine, which is found in the new E-Class sedan.
Nissan settles with FTC over misleading dune buggy ad [w/videos]
Fri, 24 Jan 2014A couple years ago, Nissan created a series of commercials for its compact Frontier pickup showing the truck performing outlandish stunts such as snowboarding, saving a passenger airplane from a crash landing and climbing a steep sand dune to help a stranded dune buggy. As crazy as the first two commercials were, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) took issue with the latter, titled Hill Climb, with the agency considering it to be a misleading commercial since both vehicles required a cable to reach the top of the steep dune.
As such, Ad Age is reporting that Nissan - and its ad agency TBWA Worldwide - has settled with the FTC over the ad despite the fact that it features a disclaimer stating: "Fictionalization. Do not attempt." Nissan did not have to pay out any money in the settlement, but it is prohibited "from using potentially misleading demonstrations in future advertisements for pickups." In addition to the offending commercial, posted below, we've included some of the other related videos from the same Frontier campaign.
