You won't find a cleaner 2005 XTERRA around. There is very minimal wear. It is very clean, inside and out. The car starts, runs, stops, drives very well. You won't be disappointed. If you're looking for a dependable used car, this is it. We have just had it professionally detailed - including the engine. New pinstripe. Newer tires with 8/32 tread, all the way around. This car is nice. It has a ROCKFORD FOSGATE STEREO with a LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION to XM Satellite. The stereo is unbelievable. We've owned the car since new and have maintained it well with oil changes, new tires all the way around - we're non-smokers and the car has never been smoked in. We've never had any problem with the vehicle. The reason we're selling is we just bought a new 2014 Passat Diesel. This is the first vehicle we're selling on eBay. We've bought several, but we haven't sold. We're not car dealers - just Mom and Pop trying to sell a good car. You're welcome to bring your mechanic by to have them look it over. You're welcome to take it for a test drive. Even after you buy it you are welcome to bring your mechanic by - if you decide you don't want it, you don't have to buy it. Nissan teases sedan concept for Beijing [w/video]
Sat, 15 Mar 2014Nissan is giving us the first tease of its creatively named New Sedan Concept that is premiering at the Beijing Motor Show on April 20. The single image shows the vehicle wearing a diaphanous robe that is just translucent enough to make out its headlights, V-shaped grille and badge. The rest is still a mystery.
The New Sedan Concept is aimed at young, digitally focused Chinese buyers, according to Nissan. Its look came from a collaboration between the company's design centers in China and Japan and was led by Chief Creative Officer Shiro Nakamura. However, the teaser certainly makes the New Sedan look a lot like the Sport Sedan Concept from the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. Hopefully, this is truly a new model and not just a repaint.

Nissan's Ghosn highest paid exec in Japan again, at $10M per year
Tue, 24 Jun 2014Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn is on track to be the highest-paid executive in Japan for the fourth time in five years. Ghosn's salary and bonuses last year rang the register to the tune of $9.8 million (995 million yen), and when stock dividends are added to the equation, the exec's total pay crested a billion yen. That represents a 0.7-percent increase over his pay from the previous year. Ghosn earned an additional $3.1 million as CEO of Renault.
According to Bloomberg, Ghosn's compensation was announced at a shareholder's meeting in Japan, prompting an explanation from the CEO. "I understand the sensitivity of the issue," Ghosn said. "Being in Japan should not be a handicap to attract talent. We need the best minds, we need the best talents."
Few would argue with that assessment, we'd guess, but it doesn't answer the question of whether Ghosn is the most talented CEO in Japan. Akio Toyoda, head of Toyota in Japan, earned 230 yen (though, as a large shareholder in Toyota, Toyoda's dividend payments bring him closer to Ghosn) in compensation while steering his automaker to a profit that was five times higher than Nissan's. Honda President Takanobu Ito was paid the comparatively small sum of 150 million yen last year.
Asking price for Paul Walker's GT-R from Fast & Furious nearly triples [w/video]
Tue, 17 Dec 2013The German owner of the only Nissan Skyline GT-R to survive filming Fast & Furious (a.k.a., The Fast and the Furious 4) has put his car up for sale following the death of Paul Walker, Yahoo Autos reports. The original sale price was reportedly an already hefty 300,000 euros ($412,110), but it has since been raised to 1,000,000 euros ($1.37 million).
Despite many well-intentioned efforts, the Skyline GT-R was (and still is) illegal to import for street use in the US, so this R34-generation GT-R and seven others were shipped here without engines and classified as kit cars to sidestep federal law. Once here, the engines were installed, and seven street-legal GT-Rs proceeded to be destroyed during the filming of F&F. But one car, the "hero" car for sale here, was driven by Walker in non-violent scenes and thus is the only GT-R that survived filming.
Then, in July 2009, the federal government cracked down on importers of these cars, seizing almost 50 GT-Rs, including this one, telling owners to export them or risk having them destroyed. The hero GT-R was therefore exported, and its whereabouts have been unknown until recently, when the current German owner allowed it to be featured in a review (watch the German-language video below).
