Vancouver, Washington, United States

This Listing is for a Beautiful Two Owner, All Matching Numbers 69 GTX

This stunning GTX is the real deal (no clone), with numbers matching 440/375 HP engine, Torque Flight transmission and 8 3/4 rear end.  This car has only had two previous owners and has only 64,210 original miles.  The car looks and drives amazing and is very dependable.  Starts up effortlessly hot or cold and has that incredible big block sound.  I have owned multiple late sixties and early 70's Muscle Cars up to and including 60K+ rotisserie restored trailer queens.  As such, I would rate this beautiful GTX as a very high driver quality car although many would consider it a show car.  I can't take it anywhere without people getting out of their cars or running across the parking lot to marvel over it.  It is a car you can proudly take to any Mopar Event or show.

Numbers Matching Drive Train supported by VIN Tag, Fender Tag and Radiator Core Support.  Motor runs perfectly and transmission shifts nice and smooth.  Previous Owner had motor, transmission and rear end gone through with new seals and gaskets during restoration.  Absolutely no issues.

Beautiful Body and Paint with Excellent Chrome and Trim.  Restored by previous owner.  Correct Lime Light Green Metallic Paint.  I have never been a green car guy, but this color is fantastic.  Body, Frame, Floor and Trunk, all solid.  Undercarriage has been painted as it should be with no undercoating, so no chance of hidden rust.

Brand new 15" Magnum 500 Wheels and BF Goodrich Radial T/A Tires.  I also have the original 14" Magnums and Red Line Tires.  14" Tires are like new.  I put on the 15" Magnums and White Letter T/A's, as I like the more aggressive look.  Winning bidder can choose either tire and wheel combination or we can negotiate if you want both sets.

Interior of car looks incredible (See Photos).  Restored interior is awesome.  Dash looks like brand new (This is an area that frequently disappoints me on restored cars as few people really put the time in to make them look like they should, but this one is nice).  All Gauges work as they should. New upholstery, new carpets and all new console top plates.  Everyone who looks into the car thinks it looks amazing.

Please e-mail with any questions and I will get back to you ASAP.

Absolutely no zero feedback bidders.

Legal stuff: I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.  A $1,000 deposit required at end of auction (Pay-Pal accepted).  The remainder of payment and pick up of the car is due five business days of the end of auction, although once payment is made, I will be happy to work with winning bidder on pick up or shipping options.    The sale is final.  No refunds or returns.  Title is free and clear and in my possession.

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

'71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible sells for $3.5M [w/video]

Mon, 16 Jun 2014

We're plenty used to seeing classic cars selling for millions of dollars. It's just that they're usually European: Ferraris, Bugattis, Mercedes and the like. There are some rare American exceptions, usually wearing the names Duesenberg or Shelby. But what we have here is the most expensive Chrysler product ever sold at auction.
The vehicle in question is a Plymouth Barracuda - specifically a 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible, chassis #BS27R1B315367 - that Mecum Auctions just sold after eight solid minutes of feverish bidding for a high bid of $3.5 million at its auction in Seattle, Washington. That figure positively eclipses the $2.2 million paid for a strikingly similar Hemi Cuda (chassis #BS27R1B269588) fetched nearly seven years ago in Scottsdale and another that was the first muscle car to break the million-dollar mark in 2002.
