 Greetings, I am offering for sale one (1) authentic;
1966 PLYMOUTH 426-HEMI SATELLITE, 4-SPEED, DANA 60 w/ 3:54, *Real* H-Code Hemi-car, Matching Date-codes and Numbers!

Please see pics; This great Mopar is CURRENTLY an incomplete project. It has recently undergone an extensive "nut-and-bolt" drive-train Restoration. Whereas, virtually every part within the engine, transmission, rear-end, brakes and fuel-system(s) has been restored to like "new" condition. Although, I do not claim that every single bolt/part is completely accurate or date-correct. Please see pics.
The GG-1 Dark Green metallic Acrylic-Enamel paint is about 10 years old and is still in good condition. The paint has not yet been wet-sanded, buffed or polished.
The Interior, Glass and frame/undercarriage is in good-to-very good condition, is mostly original except for the repaint and it shows the 45 +/- years of patina. There is some dry-rot on the front seat bottoms.
I have owned this particular Plymouth since 1981, I believe I am the fourth owner of this car. It was obvious all previous owners prior to me kept good care of this vehicle. This car has never experienced rotted exterior body-panels, although the passenger-side front-floor pan had experienced (repaired) pin holes caused by a formerly leaking heater core. This Satellite has been in storage and has not seen the road since 1982. It had/has less than 42,000 miles on the odometer at that time. You should know that this Mopar is a bear to drive with the Hemi 4-speed, manual drum brakes and non-power steering.
PS; all Hemi-cars have sharply increased in value, virtually every consecutive year for the past 25 years!
PPS; "One can NEVER PAY TOO MUCH for a
bonafide, "blue-chip" Mopar Collectable, you can only, at worst, pay the right-price; too-early..." (UNK)

Please see pics; Questions? please call Ken (845)354-6955

Transportation/Delivery- can easily be arranged anywhere within the northeastern United States.

SOLD AS IS
GOOD LUCK BIDDING

Thanks for Looking!

SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own

Wed, 19 Dec 2012

Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.
