CAR DOES HAVE SOME VERY MINOR RUST STARTING TO SHOW ON THE PASS SIDE IN FRONT OF THE FENDER SKIRT DOWN LOW,(PIC),BUT AS I SAY VERY MINOR, INSIDE TRUCK IS ONLY A LITTLE SURFACE RUST ,BUT AGAIN AS SOLID AS A ROCK,W ORIGINAL MAT AND TIRE AND TIRE COVER AS WELL AS JACK ,BUMPERS ARE STRAIGHT AS WELL AS THE GAPS AROUND THE FENDER EDGES ARE PERFECT,AS WELL AS DOOR ,HOOD AND TRUNK,TOP GOES UP AND DOWN LIKE NEW ALL SNAPS ARE FUNCTIONAL ON TOP BOOT AS WELL ORIGINAL JACK INSTRUCTION ARE STILL AFFIXED TO TRUNK LID ,DOOR JAMS AND PINCH WELD ARE ORIGINAL.NOT BEING NEW BUT NO RUST OR EVIDENCE OF REPAINT, THERE IS ONE LITTLE KINK IN THE REAR BUMPER ON LEFT JUST TO THE SIDE OF THE BUMPER BOLT BUT THATS IT,NO BENT UNDER FROM IMPROPER JACKING LIKE SO MANY ARE,FRONT LOWER VALANCE PANEL IS NOT SO FORTUNATE,IT HAS A DENT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE ,(MINOR) AND THE LEFT CHROME STRIP AROUND LICENSE PLATE IS BUMPED INTO SOMETHING AND IS PUSHED OVER JUST A BIT...............OTHER THAN THAT ENJOY THE PICS AND CALL IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS............ Lutz says Washington killed Pontiac, next G6 was to be ATS derivative
Tue, 29 Oct 2013How many people think Buick or GMC should have gotten the axe instead of Pontiac? You can't see it, but I'm raising my hand. Autoweek reports that former Vice Chairman of GM, Bob Lutz, has indicated that things didn't have to end up the way they did.
"The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.'"
In a talk given at the Petersen Automotive Museum for the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, Lutz says "The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.' So, it goes. And when the guy who is handing you the check for $53 billion says, 'I don't want Pontiac, drop Pontiac or you don't get the money,' it doesn't take you very long to make up your mind." Lutz even added that the next-generation Pontiac G6 would have benefitted from the rear-wheel-drive platform of the Cadillac ATS. How awesome would that have been?
Sci-fi movie Jinn features car designer, Firebird-bodied Camaro
Tue, 08 Apr 2014If you're an automotive engineer being tormented by an immortal being made of fire, then wouldn't you think it best to have a custom coupe called the FireBreather for your getaway car? That's the FireBreather in the image above, adorned by the red wings that once fronted the Pontiac Firebird, running away from a black cloud of evil in a trailer for the movie Jinn.
The Jinn is eternal evil, always waiting for the chance to make things float across rooms before going on homicidal urban rampages. The FireBreather is a Gen-V Chevrolet Camaro - from the V6 to the ZL1 - that's been through Classic Design Concepts' extensive list of exterior and interior modifications, including entirely new front and rear fascias and side skirts, sway bars and springs, Pirelli P Zeroes and an available Edelbrock supercharger.
The movie - FireBreathing chase scenes and all - was shot in Monroe, Michigan. You can watch the trailer below, but since the FireBreather only get a couple of seconds on screen, you can find out more about it on Street Legal TV and its official site.
Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes

Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
