This is a 30 year old car that has been garaged for about the last 15+ years. The exterior is in great shape and the interior, while it could use a pair of Mr. Mikes seat covers, is in good shape with that exception. I just had a new fuel pump installed and since that was done it run's reliably. Unlike some the headlights go both up and down and the sun roof does not leak. With just a little TLC this Fiero could become a great show car but I'm 69 and I don't have enough time for it. I will include three storage bins of spare parts (radios, headlight motors, etc.) and the original windshield "PONTIAC" decal that was never applied. I have ordered a Pace Car "Package" that will be included when it arrives. If you have any questions let me know and I will respond as quickly as I can and post answers to this auction listing. If you need any additional photo's just let me know and I will send them to your email address. I am unsure as to whether I am the third owner as I purchased the car from a dealer in Grand Rapids, MI and then garaged the car to work on it when I retired but never got around to it and my wife wants it out of the garage. I have reviewed previous auction sales and feel that I have established a realistic reserve price. Fiero is listed for sale locally so it is subject to prior sale. I m not a mechanic so the car is sold in as-is condition but I welcome any inspections prior to sale. Thanks for considering this purchase.

GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll
Tue, 25 Feb 2014
588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
General Lee takes on Bandit T/A in classic Hollywood car showdown [w/poll]
Fri, 26 Aug 2011You don't have to be born in the 1960s or 1970s to be able to recognize the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard and the Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit. These old school four-wheeled stars seem to transcend demographics thanks to the miles of film that show the orange 1969 Dodge Charger and the jet-black 1977 Pontiac Trans Am performing seemingly impossible stunts.
The folks at Hot Rod magazine are obviously hip to this fact, and they put together a fun video in tribute of the instantly recognizable duo. Hit the jump to watch on as Sam Young and James Smith replace Bo Duke and The Bandit for a bit of dirt-road shenanigans in a pair of otherwise well cared for classics. We're not so sure we'd call it the best chase scene ever, but it sure looks like a lot of fun.
More importantly, which of these two cars would you rather own? Have your say in our poll below.
Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.
