Up for sale is my 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT. This car car high mileage "185k" but runs and drives just fine, no problem driving this Fiero wherever needed. This car is far from perfect and would make a great candidate for a restoration. I believe the original color of the car was black and has been repainted white but needs a respray and well as additional minor body work. Only 614 t-top GT model Fieros were made in 1988, it is fully loaded with the following options - power locks, power windows, power mirrors, performance sound subwoofer package, rear window defroster, air conditioning (not working), and cruise control. This car is being sold as is, I encourage any bidders to come and inspect the vehicle prior to bidding so you know what to expect. Auction does include the t-top windows, not shown in the picture, but are not cracked or damaged.
I have owned a couple other Fieros and still have a nice 88 GT that I'm holding onto, I purchased this car to restore as it's a t-top model but just don't have the time nor money so it's time for it to find a new home.
I welcome anyone to give me a call if you have any questions at 419-seven88-7623

Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes
Wed, 31 Oct 2012It seems the Pontiac Trans Am steadfastly refuses to die. Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
No matter which way you choose to go, your inner Burt Reynolds will appreciate the Eibach suspension kit, forged wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, functional shaker hood, fender air extractors, rear spoiler and, of course, a Hurst shifter inside. The interior is emblazoned with all manner of special touches, including a Hurst dash plate and T/A stitching on the Katzkin two-tone leather seats.
Rumormill: DeLorean Motor Company considering rescuing Pontiac Solstice?

General Motors has made a science out of sharing platforms. So when the company's Kappa platform was introduced for a new rear-drive roadster to be distributed across three different motor divisions, you'd have figured the program was pretty safe, right? Unfortunately for the workers at the Wilmington Assembly Plant which manufactured the Kappa roadsters, those three divisions were Pontiac, Saturn and Opel - three units which the General has either sold or shut down. Which is a shame, because a perfectly good rear-drive roadster platform is a heck of a thing to waste.
In one of the strangest rumors we've heard recently, however, our compatriots over at Jalopnik report that the DeLorean Motor Company (yes, that DeLorean Motor Company) is considering buying the plant and the platform from GM and putting it back into production as a new DMC.
