This car was bought brand new by my uncle and has been in the family ever since. I've had the car for 7 years now. I bought it with 16,395 miles on it, the car currently has 25,866 miles. The car has been garage kept, stored winters all its time. The car is in like new condition. The car has the Firehawk package #53. The firehawk options are as follows: Composite hood with functional cold air induction, hood mounted heat extractors, 17' x 9.0' 5 spoke chrome wheels, performance stainless steel exhaust with twin dual tips, upgraded suspension components, firehawk front fascia, auburn high torque diff, firehawk floor mats, and firehawk car cover. The only upgrades made to the car are slp air intake, slp cat back exhaust, and 4:10 gears. Other than these few upgrades the car is unmolested, like factory new. The Firehawk logo was embroidered in the head rests and it has yellow graphics in a few spots as u can see in the pics. The car is clean, and very well taken care of. The car is a head turner. 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 recalled over airbag concern
Mon, 07 Nov 2011General Motors is recalling around 38,000 Pontiac G8 sedans from its 2008 and 2009 model years. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that the cars may have a passenger-side airbag flaw that might prevent proper deployment in certain scenarios.
According to NHTSA, the airbag might not adequately protect a fifth percentile woman - that is, a woman around four-foot, 11-inches weighing 108 pounds. The New York Times indicates that the anomaly was found during a crash test conducted by GM's Australian branch, Holden, which was testing the G8's twin (read: Commodore) for head injuries. According to that report, the test in question is specifically tailored to simulate injuries to females, so the results do not apply to men or children.
The issue has been blamed on a seat position sensor that governs airbag deployment rates. NHTSA indicates that when the front passenger seat is moved all the way forward, the faulty sensor may inappropriately trigger a 30-millisecond delay between airbag stages, potentially leading to greater injuries.
GM issues four new recalls, 2.4 million cars affected

Automakers tussle over owners of 'orphan' makes
Thu, 10 May 2012When General Motors put down several of its brands in recent years, it also let loose thousands of brand-loyal customers who will eventually need another car.
R.L. Polk Associates estimates there are more than 18 million cars from 16 discontinued makes on the road today. Those "orphan owners" have sales-hungry competitors seeing dollar signs. GM is offering Saturn owners $1,000 cash toward a Chevy Cruze, Cadillac CTS or a GMC Acadia. Ford is giving its Mercury lease customers a chance to get out of their contracts with no early-termination penalty and offering to waive six remaining payments if they drive off in a Ford or Lincoln.
Edmunds.com research shows the efforts are paying off somewhat for GM, with 39 percent of Pontiac owners, 37 percent of Hummer owners and 31 percent of Saturn owners taking delivery of another GM-branded vehicle. But that leaves as much as 69 percent of owners going elsewhere. Ford, Honda and Toyota seem to be attracting many former GM owners.
