2005 Pontiac G6 Gt Sedan 4-door 3.5l on 2040-cars
Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, United States
This is a very nice sporty car in great condition! We have been the only owners of this car, my wife drove it off the showroom floor. We are non-smokers and have taken great care of the vehicle. It has leather interior with power locks & windows, tilt and slide sunroof, heated seats, power driver's seat, and premium chrometech wheels. The car has keyless entry and remote start, however, the remotes need to be replaced, and will currently only unlock the doors. It also has a 6-disc CD changer, satellite radio, and OnStar. I have the Title in hand.
There have been no accidents with this car. I am happy to provide you with the carfax if you would like to see it. Recent maintenance to the car includes replacing all four tires and replacing the front brakes. The first two tires (mastercraft) were replaced in November of 2011 (102,671 miles), the front brakes were replaced in May of 2012, and the other two tires (matching the other two mastercraft) were replaced in April of last year (126,065). The battery was just replaced on 2/8/2014. The oil has been changed regularly per the manufacturer's recommendations throughout the life of the vehicle. I just had the car detailed, including shampooing the carpets. The interior of the car is in great shape. The car has been primarily used for commuting to work, mostly highway miles. |

Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.
Lutz says Washington killed Pontiac, next G6 was to be ATS derivative
Tue, 29 Oct 2013How many people think Buick or GMC should have gotten the axe instead of Pontiac? You can't see it, but I'm raising my hand. Autoweek reports that former Vice Chairman of GM, Bob Lutz, has indicated that things didn't have to end up the way they did.
"The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.'"
In a talk given at the Petersen Automotive Museum for the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, Lutz says "The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.' So, it goes. And when the guy who is handing you the check for $53 billion says, 'I don't want Pontiac, drop Pontiac or you don't get the money,' it doesn't take you very long to make up your mind." Lutz even added that the next-generation Pontiac G6 would have benefitted from the rear-wheel-drive platform of the Cadillac ATS. How awesome would that have been?
Sci-fi movie Jinn features car designer, Firebird-bodied Camaro
Tue, 08 Apr 2014If you're an automotive engineer being tormented by an immortal being made of fire, then wouldn't you think it best to have a custom coupe called the FireBreather for your getaway car? That's the FireBreather in the image above, adorned by the red wings that once fronted the Pontiac Firebird, running away from a black cloud of evil in a trailer for the movie Jinn.
The Jinn is eternal evil, always waiting for the chance to make things float across rooms before going on homicidal urban rampages. The FireBreather is a Gen-V Chevrolet Camaro - from the V6 to the ZL1 - that's been through Classic Design Concepts' extensive list of exterior and interior modifications, including entirely new front and rear fascias and side skirts, sway bars and springs, Pirelli P Zeroes and an available Edelbrock supercharger.
The movie - FireBreathing chase scenes and all - was shot in Monroe, Michigan. You can watch the trailer below, but since the FireBreather only get a couple of seconds on screen, you can find out more about it on Street Legal TV and its official site.
