TURN IT ON ....WIND IT UP...BLOW IT OUT..GTO!!!!! I've got a great car here for the enthusiast. I bought it ten years ago from the ORIGINAL owner...still has the window sticker, original interior (seats and headliner are in amazing condition). 4 in the floor .. Hurst shifter...wooden steering wheel. I had it painted and had the cordova top replaced, added power steering and an electric fuel pump...also put new Red Line tires on it....it has been garaged but there is a small chip (see photos) on the fender area in front of the drivers door and a small 'scuff' on the opposite side. When the original owner did ANYTHING ...he kept the original parts and I have them as well. This car can be driven with pride AS IS and will turn heads as you pass by. It is also a good candidate for complete renovation...you will find no aftermarket parts or replacements on this beauty.
PLEASE ask ALL questions prior to bidding. I will be happy to take additional photos of any area where you would like to see more detail...and answer any questions to the best of my knowledge. You are WELCOMED and ENCOURAGED to view it in person, drive it, and inspect it or have it inspected. I am not making any warranties or representations other than what I have stated here. I don't drive it often and it is a shame to keep it put away! It is a beauty and you will enjoy the ride!!!! If you prefer to speak directly to me, send me an email and I will send you my cell number. $500.00 Non Refundable deposit due (PAYPAL) within 24 hours of Auctions close.

On Apr-25-13 at 18:54:50 PDT, seller added the following information:
It was MISTAKENLY listed as having AIRCONDITIONING. It DOES NOT HAVE AIRCONDITIONING. I was unable to 'revise' the listing info as per Ebay policy...that is the reason for this separate note

eBay Find of the Day: 1967 Pontiac GTO Monkeemobile
Sun, 29 Apr 2012Say what you will about The Monkees, but the guys in the band had great taste in automobiles. Take the Monkeemobile, for example. Built off a 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible, the custom featured genuinely interesting bodywork and some wild engine bolt-ons. If you're a fan of 1960s pop and yearn to relive the genre's glory days, eBay Motors may have what you need. A recreation of the 1967 Monkeemobile has showed up for auction. This particular replica was built by Dakota County Customs using an four-speed GTO, just like the original.
Built for the band's 45th anniversary and the final Monkees tour last year, this Monkeemobile is faithful down to every last detail. Unfortunately, the trumpet exhaust poking out of the front fender wells and the massive gold-flake blower are for show only. Seems fitting.
If you like what you see, this machine is up for bid in Richfield, Minnesota with two days left on the auctions. So far, bidding as whipped up to $60,000 with the reserve not met. Head over to eBay Motors to have a look.
1939 Pontiac Ghost Car commands $308,000 at auction
Mon, 01 Aug 2011For the 1939 World's Fair, Pontiac built a Deluxe Six bodied in Plexiglass. Part of the Previews of Progress pavilion in which General Motors' Futurama showed off what was to come in the world of autos, the 'invisible' Pontiac is credited as the first transparent car in America. And there were no shortcuts taken with its body: the Plexiglass form was fabricated by the company that brought the material to market in 1933, Rohm & Haas.
The see-through sedan was sold at RM Auctions' St. John's auction in Michigan on July 30, fetching $308,000. Not bad appreciation for a domestic oddity that cost $25,000 to build when new. You can check out the high-res gallery of its innards, including copper and chrome metalwork and white moldings and wheels, and get the exhaustive details on it after the jump.
Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld's passenger seat for CiCGC
Thu, 06 Feb 2014We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.
This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.
Scroll below to hear Howard accuse Jerry of acting like Jesus, just before declaring himself the greatest radio personality in the history of the business.
