2005 GTO. The car is in nearly perfect condition. The Red interior is in flawless shape and is
very clean. Never been smoked in. It has been pampered and garaged its whole life, never seen rain. Waxed and
detailed regularly along with regular maintenance. Runs like it did from the factory; except faster and louder! No
hiccups or noises, no leaks, no smells or anything of that nature. Compression Tested on 7/19/16 with flawless
results. Very healthy motor. Clean title in my name ; currently at 45,000 miles, but it will go up as i drive it
regularly. Absolutely nothing wrong with the vehicle at all. It still retains all smog equipment for California
buyers. The turbo kit is smog legal as well! All work was done by professionals and it shows. It also has a highly
sought after power sunroof! They were not offered from the factory, this was a very expensive dealer installation.
No expense was spared on any part of this vehicle.
-STS Smog Legal rear mount turbo system
-Upgraded from the provided turbo to a superior GARRETT turbo- Checked on 7/8/2016; No shaft play what-so-ever.
-46LB Denso fuel injectors
-STS Methanol injection kit
-TIAL blow off valve and external wastegate
-Felpro Head Gaskets (More reliable than stock)
-Custom Dyno tune 460whp(540hp crank) at 5psi ; kept mild for reliability and longevity but can easily be turned up
for more power; Plenty of power for me as is.

Rumormill: DeLorean Motor Company considering rescuing Pontiac Solstice?
Wed, 07 Oct 2009 DeLorean Motor Company Pontiac Solstice renderings - Click above for high-res image gallery
General Motors has made a science out of sharing platforms. So when the company's Kappa platform was introduced for a new rear-drive roadster to be distributed across three different motor divisions, you'd have figured the program was pretty safe, right? Unfortunately for the workers at the Wilmington Assembly Plant which manufactured the Kappa roadsters, those three divisions were Pontiac, Saturn and Opel - three units which the General has either sold or shut down. Which is a shame, because a perfectly good rear-drive roadster platform is a heck of a thing to waste.
In one of the strangest rumors we've heard recently, however, our compatriots over at Jalopnik report that the DeLorean Motor Company (yes, that DeLorean Motor Company) is considering buying the plant and the platform from GM and putting it back into production as a new DMC.
Airbag recall adds 85k Pontiac Vibes to tally
Fri, 13 Jun 2014The repairs needed for the faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata continue to expand. Toyota initially announced a recall of 766,300 vehicles equipped with the bad part on June 11 as a followup to a campaign from 2013. Soon after, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened a preliminary evaluation into five automakers who also used the component in their models. Now, NHTSA has released the official announcement of the latest Toyota recall listing 844,277 affected cars, including the newly added 2003-2004 Pontiac Vibe.
While NHTSA's document didn't include a model-by-model breakdown, General Motors spokesperson Alan Adler estimated to Autoblog that roughly 85,000 Vibes in the US would be covered under the latest recall. Like the rest of the affected models, the airbag inflator could rupture in a crash causing the bag not to work correctly, possibly spraying metal fragments at the occupant.
Toyota spokesperson Cindy Knight told Autoblog that the reason for the disparity between the earlier press release and NHTSA document was that Toyota was continuing to comb through VINs to create a list of affected vehicles. The original number was an estimate of that process at the time. Scroll down to the recall report from NHTSA.
This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels
Sat, 14 Dec 2013We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.
