here is your chance to own a mint condition gto with low miles. still has stock tires the car has been babied. I have installed a full k&n air intake, jba catless mid pipes, rear muffler delete, tinted tail lights, flat back racing stripes. superchips vivid linq android tuner. the only problem is the rear seats at the top inner seam has split, that's normal for the gtos. the shocks struts are still good not sagging. I painted the rims with the plastidip paint so if wanted I can peel off back to stock rims. interior is perfect no stains or tears. its garage kept I drive it maybe once a week. took pictures of it the winter when I painted the rims its the only time its seen snow on the tires. feel free to ask any questions I may have missed.

This 1927 Oakland is a minimalist hot rod
Fri, 21 Feb 2014There are hundreds of American automakers that sprung up during the dawn of the automotive era, only to fold into obscurity or get gobbled up by what would eventually become the Big Four (yes, we're counting AMC here). Oakland is one such company, which was the forbearer for General Motors' Pontiac division. Sold until 1931, you simply don't see Oakland-badged cars anymore. Unless, that is, you know Brian Bent.
Bent drives a 1927 Oakland that still rides on wooden wheels. Its original wooden wheels, from the sound of it. That makes this anachronist and his Oakland the perfect subject for a Petrolicious video. Like many of the cars highlighted by Petrolicious, this old Oakland has had some work done to it, featuring a Pontiac flathead engine that's been pushed forward and a clutch pack built by Bent.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
