The all original and laser straight body is finished with buttery smooth, gorgeous BASF Regimental Red factory color. New front and rear glass. Most of the aluminum and stainless trim is NOS or the finest reproductions available. The interior is all new PUI Gold Series upholstery, carpet and headliner. Virtually handles, knobs, armrests, seat belts, etc. are correct NOS or top quality reproductions. The entire guage package is brand new as well as the correct Hurst shifter. The entire dash and console are restored to as new condition. Original working AM radio with correct teardrop shaped antenna shaft.

All NEW components include Probe Forged Pistons, Scat H Beam Rods, Forged Billet Steel Crankshaft, Edelbrock Aluminum RPM Heads, A custom Comp Cams Hydraulic Roller Cam with full roller rockers, Edelbock RPM Intake, Edelbrock 850 CFM Carburator, Aluminum Pulleys, A Fluid Dampener and much more. GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes
Mon, 01 Oct 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.

Tony Stewart to star in Smoke Is The Bandit web series
Mon, 10 Mar 2014NASCAR driver Tony Stewart is making good use of his nickname Smoke in new videos inspired by the 1970s classic Smokey and the Bandit. The original is one of the quintessential automotive movies of its era with a fantastic combination of slapstick comedy and great car stunts in a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. If you've never seen it, check it out immediately.
In the new six-part Smoke IS the Bandit web series, Stewart takes on the role of Burt Reynolds' famous character complete with huge mustache. But instead of trying to smuggle cases of Coors beer it's Mobil 1 oil. The series promises to recreate many of the famous scenes from the movie and includes cameos from other NASCAR drivers.
To complete the look, future videos just need a quality replacement for a young Sally Field to ride shotgun. It would also be really cool if Reynolds could make a brief appearance at some point. Scroll down to check out the trailer and the first episode in the series.
