2005 Pontiac Grand Prix Gtp Comp G Competition Group Southern Car Rust Free Wow! on 2040-cars
Brockport, New York, United States
Incredibly nice 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. Southern car with no/minimal corrosion and deterioration. Excellent shape throughout - inside & out. No issues mechanically - everything top notch including engine, transmission, brakes, electrically, etc. Runs & drives incredibly well. This is the high-end supercharged GTP model with the rare Comp G (competition group) package that includes features such as enhanced suspension, gearing, paddle shifters, brakes, heads-up display, etc etc. This car represents a great blend of fun & practicality. The supercharged 3800 V6 offers great power when prompted but is very economical as-well. Look around and you will find these cars have a proven track record with respect to holding up over time. With only 82,000 miles on it, this one is barely broken in - I'm not kidding! The in-dash engine hour meter shows less than 2000 hours which is extremely low indicating this car has probably seen mostly highway miles. My Dad is a big fan of these GTP's and this car was purchased with him in mind but he has decided to liquidate some of his toys. The particular car has history in North Carolina and we bought it out of New Jersey. Please take a minute to review the pictures as they hopefully convey how nice it is and feel free to ask any questions via e-mail or text/phone (Steve 585-329-9362). I have many additional pictures I could provide if requested - I could only upload 24 into the auction. This is a no surprises car. New York state residents will be required to pay sales tax on top of the winning bid + the car will be New York state inspected.

Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.
Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial
Sat, 16 Mar 2013
The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes
Mon, 01 Oct 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.
While the list of affected cars and crossovers varies by state and model year, if you own any of these models and live in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma or Texas, be sure to check the official notice below for more details.
