I have my 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix Gxp 5.3 v8 up for sale. Let me first off say this car does have high mileage but all highway miles and it has been very well taken care of! I have a folder full of maintenance records and receipts, including the engine and transmission that was replaced 34,000 miles ago with receipts and transmission still under jasper warranty (cost 4300$ for engine and trans) car has 264,000 but like I said all highway miles !!
Body is clean with typical blemishes of a car with high miles (stone chips on hood and some small dings see pix and some times the air bag light will come on its a plug under the driver seat is what the GM tech said) not really noticeable just want to mention. Interior is in very good condition, black leather/suede heated seats, heads up display, paddle shifters on steering wheel, monsoon stereo system, power moon roof, drilled and slotted rotors with brand new break pads on all 4 !1 18" Koing wheels with good tires!! Runs and drives good with lots of power! ohio buyers pay sales tax on the high bid ! buying as is no warranty! come and test drive before bidding !
has many more miles to go.

Aficionauto sits down with The Hoff and KITT

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

The latest video from The Aficionauto is the perfect palate cleanser for Knight Rider fans after finding out that Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in an upcoming film. Host Christopher Rutkowski says that the Knight Industries Two Thousand is one of the most requested vehicles to appear on the series and for good reason - Michael Knight's Pontiac Trans-Am is among the most famous cars to ever appear on television.
While the video isn't able to showcase one of the original KITTs from the series, it does get star David Hasselhoff to drive his personal replica and talk about the lasting legacy of the show. The highlight here might be seeing The Hoff back behind the wheel in the open desert basically recreating Knight Rider's opening sequence.
With all of its flashing lights and gizmos, you can probably make the argument that KITT is pretty cheesy, and the show itself was never exactly a pillar of high-quality drama on television. Despite that, the series still provides a ton of good-natured fun, and The Hoff's continued enthusiasm for it is pretty infectious. Check out The Aficionauto video to take another ride with Knight Rider.

This 1927 Oakland is a minimalist hot rod

Fri, 21 Feb 2014

There are hundreds of American automakers that sprung up during the dawn of the automotive era, only to fold into obscurity or get gobbled up by what would eventually become the Big Four (yes, we're counting AMC here). Oakland is one such company, which was the forbearer for General Motors' Pontiac division. Sold until 1931, you simply don't see Oakland-badged cars anymore. Unless, that is, you know Brian Bent.
Bent drives a 1927 Oakland that still rides on wooden wheels. Its original wooden wheels, from the sound of it. That makes this anachronist and his Oakland the perfect subject for a Petrolicious video. Like many of the cars highlighted by Petrolicious, this old Oakland has had some work done to it, featuring a Pontiac flathead engine that's been pushed forward and a clutch pack built by Bent.
Take a look below for a closer look at this rare and fascinating Oakland.

This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels

Sat, 14 Dec 2013

We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.
