2000 Pontiac Sunfire!!

--

I am selling my 2000 Pontiac sunfire. I had it for a while now. Great car. Has a few dents. Car could use a paint job. Interior is OK Need sun visors and a new motor for the sun roof (does not close all the way). Radio does not work and the AC due to tube being cut. Engine has 219489 miles on it. Check engine is on was told it is because of a bad sensor. Car just had a oil change. No cracks in the windows. Seats have red seat covers on them. Gauges work great. Really good gas mileage. Get around 300 miles on a full tank of gas. Brand new battery. Left headlight doesn't turn on so I drive with the brights on so the left light does work and apparently the brights are not super bright so other people do not flash you.

This is a great daily driver. It may not be the best car but it works and does what its suppose to.
Has Arizona Title. Clear title ready for your name!

Pros:
Good mileage
Nice and fast
no cracks in windows
runs good
Transmission put in it
New tires put on it

Cons:
One headlight does not work unless brights are on
Sunroof doesn't close all the way
Dents in the front and rear of the car
Some rust under the hood
AC does not work
Paint clear coat is peeling
Radio needs to be re-wired
Review mirror needs to be put back on

Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit

Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.

Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld's passenger seat for CiCGC

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.
This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.
Scroll below to hear Howard accuse Jerry of acting like Jesus, just before declaring himself the greatest radio personality in the history of the business.

Looking back at Oprah's free-car giveaway 10 years later

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

Oprah kicked off her 19th season in dramatic fashion by giving all 276 members of the studio audience a free car.
Molly Vielweber's Pontiac G6 appears unremarkable at first glance. It wears forest green paint, rolls on five-spoke aluminum wheels, and it has a sizeable scrape in the driver's side door, the scar of a decade's worth of hard use. You wouldn't notice it parked at a big box store or cruising on the highway. Pontiac made hundreds of thousands of G6s in the 2000s, and a lot are still on the road. It's unremarkable in every way except for the front license plate, which reads, "Oprah 6."
