This is a BEAUTIFUL 1970 Pontiac Trans Am. The car is garage kept and is in great condition. Everything under the
hood was just replaced from the radiator to the hood lining. All factory nuts bolts and gaskets used to keep as
original as possible. Motor was pulled and completely gone over with all new gaskets, water pump, motor mounts,
belt, everything was powder coated where needed, new brakes, exhaust, gas tank, way too much to list!! Everything
on this car has been completely gone over or re-done. I will provide the receipts for any serious inquiries.

Transmission is 4 speed Muncie that has new flywheel and clutch. Hurst shifter.

Motor is not the original 400. It was replaced sometime in early 70's with a period correct 455 from 1970. Motor
has been redone with a mild cam and lifters. Engine is spotless! This car runs and drives very strong! Clean and
factory looking under the hood. Shaker scoop is functioning also.

Interior is perfect and all factory. An aftermarket radio and speakers were added but dash was not damaged nor was
the rear deck. Steering wheel was just replaced and all gages and even the clock is still working.

12 bolt posi rear.

Trunk has been re-done and interior is perfect with even the clock still working!

Make no mistake this is the real deal and this one is defiantly a show stopper. We get all kinds of crowds whenever
we drive it. Looks and sounds awesome!

GM recalling another 1.3-million cars over power steering woes

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

When it rains, it pours. General Motors has announced yet another major recall, covering 1.3 million units in the American market over concerns that the power steering could suddenly fail. As reported by The Detroit News' David Shepardson, GM has now recalled nearly ten times as many cars as it did all of last year.
It's important to note that should this problem arise in these cars, the steering won't fail completely, however, power steering could suddenly stop functioning. Manual steering would still be possible, but as GM says, there's an increased risk of accidents, particularly at lower speeds.
Like the ignition switch recall, this latest problem covers a wide range of vehicles from Chevrolet, Saturn and Pontiac. Normally, we'd give you the full rundown in paragraph form, but the variety of models and model years means a list is just easier. So, have a look, directly from GM's press release:

This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels

Sat, 14 Dec 2013

We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.

Automakers tussle over owners of 'orphan' makes

Thu, 10 May 2012

When General Motors put down several of its brands in recent years, it also let loose thousands of brand-loyal customers who will eventually need another car.
R.L. Polk Associates estimates there are more than 18 million cars from 16 discontinued makes on the road today. Those "orphan owners" have sales-hungry competitors seeing dollar signs. GM is offering Saturn owners $1,000 cash toward a Chevy Cruze, Cadillac CTS or a GMC Acadia. Ford is giving its Mercury lease customers a chance to get out of their contracts with no early-termination penalty and offering to waive six remaining payments if they drive off in a Ford or Lincoln.
Edmunds.com research shows the efforts are paying off somewhat for GM, with 39 percent of Pontiac owners, 37 percent of Hummer owners and 31 percent of Saturn owners taking delivery of another GM-branded vehicle. But that leaves as much as 69 percent of owners going elsewhere. Ford, Honda and Toyota seem to be attracting many former GM owners.
