1986 Pontiac Trans am Gta style, it's loaded with all options except leather, it was ordered like this from the factory, options are:
Powers windows, mirrors, hatch, door locks, antenna, power front head lights, tilt, cruise control, ac, am-fm cass w/eq and surround sound sys, ws6 package suspension, black oem BBS rims and tires, t-tops, factory (gray) sun shades, rear t-top bag (rare) , 305 tune port with 59k original miles from new! Factory cass holder in console, 4-wheel disc brakes aluminum calibers,  plus much more down to the oem floor carpets mats,

The car runs and drives perfect! The transmission shifts perfect! The rear bourg Warner 3.27 pose (limited slip) perf axle is great condition, so the power train is all great with no noise, smoke, knocks, or missing parts, as it was never touched or ever worked on since new, no mechanic has ever seen or did any repairs to it,

The car has never been tuned up since new, it still has all the factory spark plugs, cap, rotor, and even has the factory muffler, it has never been abused, never driven hard, never had a teenager behind the wheel, it has never been modified with no performance parts, the factory radio was never been out of this car, no speakers, wires, not even an amp was ever installed, the factory t-tops was never taken off, has all the org seals on the entire car, the car has never been over 80 m.p.h. It has been babied throughout its life, it's a wonderful car throughout! It's not even broken in, still smells new,

History: a school teacher had ordered and bought this car in 1986, she then driven it back and forth to work, , she decided that the car wasent right for a single lady, so she had sold the car to a couple who took extremely care of it, they are an elderly couple that lives here in Houston, he then also never driven it that much, so it has been stored in his garage for many, many years, (see pict) so I've bought the car from him, taken it out very carefully and had it delivered to a shop who done the entire fuel sys, from a new gas tank, fuel pump, filter, and a fuel inj cleaning sys was also done, I also had done the brake lines, (both sides) had all the brakes bleeded on all 4 sides, so it stopes great! And brought it home, shop said just make sure that I start it up every so often so it won't do the same in the future, paid almost 1500 in total for all the repairs, I will give you the recite for all the work done,

So I've bought a brand new battery, and all new bushings for it, (bushings not yet installed) I wanted to leave it in its factory condition,  and had it covered and stored away, since I've owned it, I've put maybe 1 mile or less on it to drive it around the block a few times just to follow up with the fuel, the paint on the car is all original, no accidents, no paint work, no issues with it, the interior is a non-smoker car from new, the seats both front and rear are perfect condition, no rips, tears, or fading to any of the seats, all the seats are covered in plastic, all door panels are covered in plastic, dash pad is perfect, console is also super nice, and again fully covered with plastic, this is a must see and drive to understand,

The car will need:
The rear wing has a minor split in the rubber, it will need a battery cable, since its been parked in the owners garage, it's got scratches on it from having boxes and dust for years, it can be buffed out as the clear coat is all still great! And could use a few bushings for it, (future)  which I will also include with the car to new owner in the back hatch area, A 1989 Trans am Gta rear wing to go along with the sale of this car, brand new bushings, and a battery cable set, again, I can have it installed, but I wanna leave it up to the new owner to keep it all original and his garage queen? Or to make it his daily driver, So I will leave it up to you!

So if u want a really nice collector car, that has been well taken care of since new, a car that the rear t-top bags has never been opened or never been driven fast what so ever! Then this is the car to be parked into your garage.... It's as original as u can find! Seen other cars out there that say there original? But swapping out motors, havering speakers, amps, and taking out bolts don't make them 100% org, this car has never seen a mechanic in 27 years, except to change the oil, and to do the fuel system several months ago,  if u would like to see a video of the car running and driving, see detailed videos of the interior, and the video of the outside body, just please email me your address to:
johnjohninht@gmail.com
Or call me at: 832-517-0182 I can also text it to you,

The car is being reposted from the last auction because of a bidder who wanted it really bad, but could not afford it! So he has been reported threw eBay and is now blocked from ever buying again, so I so ask that u are a serious buyer and won't hurt this sale to go to a true collector or buyer,

I will help with the transporter service that you decide to go with, , or u are more then welcome to come over and drive it back home to your house, I can get u a 3 day permit from the Texas motor vehicle dept,

Car will come with a clear and clean tx title (open) spare keys, all extra parts, spare rear wing, books, lock key for rims, ect....  Or i can send it to you and all the paper work to your home after vehicle is paid in full..As u can see on the car fax, it's all good, as it was taken off the road years ago, and not been inspected and was just stored away and not in use,,,, so any questions just please ask, it don't come any original as this car is, a video is a must to see to truly understand, this auction will be held for 3 days only, if I don't sell it, it will be parked back into my garage, and later this year it will be trailered to the mecum auto auction in Phoenix az, for the next live auction and will be sold there, it will also be registered to go the classic car shows in the summer prior to the auction held in Arizona,
Thank you,
John g

Ps- I will try and ask my nephew to post 3 videos on U-tube by tomorrow, and I will come back and let you know the u-tube address or the type in name to find the Trans am to see it in full view! As I urge u to please email me for a live video of it, Picts don't do justice on it,
Thanks again!

2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am

Mon, 13 May 2013

No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.

Lutz says GM was working on 5th-gen Pontiac GTO

Thu, 08 Aug 2013

Bob Lutz was one of the forces behind bringing the Holden Monaro to the United States, as the ill-fated Pontiac GTO in 2004. And while that car received critical acclaim, it was a sales disappointment. Now, Road & Track is reporting that our suspicions were correct - Pontiac was working on a two-door, G8-based coupe before it was shuttered.
In that R&T article, which is no longer available online, Lutz explained that the new GTO would solve many of the issues found in the original. Car Advice speculates that the new model would have look like a rebadged version of the Holden Coupe 60 Concept from 2008, a conclusion we also came to.
That car would have been a big departure from the 2004 to 2006 GTO. It has an extremely long hood and short rear deck, with an almost fastback roofline and a wide greenhouse with a tall beltline. The wheel arches were very pronounced, and the chin and rocker panel splitters gave it a race-ready look. Would it have been enough to make the GTO work in the US? We think it might of, but it looks like we'll never know.

GM knew about fatal Chevy ignition problem decade before recall

Fri, 21 Feb 2014

Well, this is not good for General Motors. Following a report last week that GM was recalling 778,000 Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 compacts over concerns that the ignition could switch out of the "run" position without warning, USA Today reports that the Detroit-based behemoth knew about the issue, which affected 2005 to 2007 Cobalts (the Cobalt shown above and in the gallery is from 2010) and 2007 Pontiac G5s, all the way back in 2004.
The information comes from a deposition in a civil lawsuit against GM, obtained by USA Today, which claims that a GM engineer experienced the issue while the then-new model was undergoing testing. The issue was "solved" when a technical service bulletin was issued in 2005, informing dealers to install a snap-on key cover on the cars of customers who complained about the issue. According to the Cobalt's program engineering manager, Gary Altman, the cover was an "improvement, it was not a fix to the issue."
The case where the depositions were made was from 2010, and involved Brooke Melton, a 29-year-old pediatric nurse in Georgia who was killed on her birthday. At the time, police claimed she was going too fast on a wet, rural road, although it later came out through the black box that her car's ignition had come out of the "run" position at least three seconds before the accident (the max amount of time a black box records before a wreck), disabling her airbags, power steering and anti-lock brakes. According to USA Today, police said Melton was "traveling too fast for the roadway conditions," although it's impossible to know if she'd have been in the wreck, which injured the occupants of another vehicle, had her 2005 Chevy not shut off. GM settled the Melton family's case, although the details remain confidential.
