1986 Trans am, has 59,323 miles from new, the car has been parked and stored for years, when I had bought it several months ago, I had taken it out of the barn garage from a local owner here in Houston tx, I have done a complete new fuel sys, from gas tank, fuel filter, pump, ect... And went on to do the brake lines sys, I have put no more then 1 mile on it for many months, and just last few week, I have driven it about 90 miles or so, I've installed some good 16inch tires, p 245/50/16 inch, and done a oil change on it, so now the car runs and drives really good, great power, performance, and handles very well also, the owner told me that this car has never had the factory t-tops off, so I've also followed suite, and never removed them myself, he also told me that he never abused it nor ever taken it over 80 m.p.h, so again I've also followed to do the same, no teenager has never driven it since brand new, I've also follow the same as I has a few of my own,  the car has the factory t-top bags that's never been opened, and also comes with the factory oem sun shades t-top screens that goes on top in the car, and has the factory bag for them also, which is super rare,

The owner is in his late 60's to early 70's and has only driven it as a weekend car, and always been in his garage most of the time, so I do also cover and leave it parked inside my garage and drive my suv, the car has the factory radio that was never taken out since day one, no speakers, no amp, no wires, no mods of any sort, not even the plugs and wires was ever changed, it still has the factory muffler! As no mechanic has ever worked on this car since day one, but only to do the repairs to get it back on the road several months ago, it's been in text most of its life, and has not been registered since, just a few weeks ago, I've decided to have it registered and insured because I wanted to take it out to do the tires and so forth, every where I would go it would get tons of complements, the car has no rust, no damage to it, the factory muffler is on and sounds really good, (for stock)

It's a non-smoker car, no pets ever inside, it has all the factory options, power windows, locks, mirrors, hatch, antenna, tilt cruise control, fog lights, am-fm cass player, the ac still has the factory R-12 sys, it's that original, and the beautiful BBS wheels with hi performance tires, bourg Warner 4-wheel disc rear end that is pose, 700R4 automatic Trans, w/over drive, plus much more options,  all the seats are clean with no damage or tears, both front and back, it's been taken care of very well,

The rear wing has sub stained a few splits in it throughout the years, and the paint has fading and scratches in in from being in the garage from dust and  da Bree here and there,  but it's all the factory original car since day one!

All and all, you won't find one like it, I hear tons of people say they have a original car? But when u put and change a radio, or do even a muffler, it's been modified, this car has not even had the light bulbs changed, so if u want and are looking for a very nice car that has low miles, no leaks, no smoking or any motor noise, then look no further, I have one to go to a new home in your garage,

Included with the car will be: clear and open Texas title, a good used rear Gta wing (spoiler) all the factory bags, a box of new parts of bushings, and org keys, i don't have any repair records for it, because it never needed to get anything done! But only oil changes, (sorry) and the factory spare tire with all tools, the spare tire also had never been out of the car, and has the original air can that's never been opened!

Please call me for any questions you may have at: 832-517-0182

I only ask that you please be a serious buyer, as the last time I've posted here, the bidder couldn't pay for it, so eBay said he has been banned from ever bidding again, so please serious buyers only bid,

If u win the auction, you are more then welcome to come over to my home, and drive the car back to your home, as it has current tags, and regerstraion available, you would just need to call your insurance co. To add it to your policy, my insurance coverage is 8k for only 90 dollars a year fully insured under classic insurance from a (A) rated company, at 1200 miles per year pleasure driver and for weekend cruiser, or about 150 a year for under 5k miles a year as a daily pleasure driver,

Thank you for reading!

Here are a few live videos of the car as it sits inside and out, and also the power train....

Aficionauto sits down with The Hoff and KITT

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

The latest video from The Aficionauto is the perfect palate cleanser for Knight Rider fans after finding out that Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in an upcoming film. Host Christopher Rutkowski says that the Knight Industries Two Thousand is one of the most requested vehicles to appear on the series and for good reason - Michael Knight's Pontiac Trans-Am is among the most famous cars to ever appear on television.
While the video isn't able to showcase one of the original KITTs from the series, it does get star David Hasselhoff to drive his personal replica and talk about the lasting legacy of the show. The highlight here might be seeing The Hoff back behind the wheel in the open desert basically recreating Knight Rider's opening sequence.
With all of its flashing lights and gizmos, you can probably make the argument that KITT is pretty cheesy, and the show itself was never exactly a pillar of high-quality drama on television. Despite that, the series still provides a ton of good-natured fun, and The Hoff's continued enthusiasm for it is pretty infectious. Check out The Aficionauto video to take another ride with Knight Rider.

1939 Pontiac Ghost Car commands $308,000 at auction

Mon, 01 Aug 2011

For the 1939 World's Fair, Pontiac built a Deluxe Six bodied in Plexiglass. Part of the Previews of Progress pavilion in which General Motors' Futurama showed off what was to come in the world of autos, the 'invisible' Pontiac is credited as the first transparent car in America. And there were no shortcuts taken with its body: the Plexiglass form was fabricated by the company that brought the material to market in 1933, Rohm & Haas.
The see-through sedan was sold at RM Auctions' St. John's auction in Michigan on July 30, fetching $308,000. Not bad appreciation for a domestic oddity that cost $25,000 to build when new. You can check out the high-res gallery of its innards, including copper and chrome metalwork and white moldings and wheels, and get the exhaustive details on it after the jump.

Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit

Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
