Unfortunately I just purchased a new Harley and I can't afford to keep both toys ....I will try to be as thorough as possible.... I would really prefer that the car would be looked at in person because some peoples (mint) is not the same ....I have a feedback of 100% and I would like to keep it that way ... Ok here we go .... The car was painted by the original owner because of a clear coat problem ... Paint job looks better than factory because it has no orange peel ... Looks great .. Not perfect but nice ....rear spoiler was replaced when painted with a fiberglass replacement ... Looks great !!!!!! Car has all of its factory vin tags ... From front bumper to rear bumper !!! No body panels have been replaced ..here is a list of things I've done to car I'll start with interior .

Stainless steel t top bar with new t top weatherstrip
New shifter boot with new bulbs on entire interior of car
New kenwood stereo with alpine speakers and a 8 inch sub with amp .. All wired correctly .....

Drive shaft has new u joints and balanced
Now under the car where I spent most of my money and time ...
Entire undercarriage was POR15 then undercoated using all Eastwood products ...
Entire front end was rebuilt
Inner and outer tie rods with sleeves
Center link
Balljoints
All control arm bushings
Front and rear sway bar bushings and end links
Front and rear struts and shocks
Front strut bearings
Lowering springs .. Just 1 inch looks great
Front and rear cross drilled rotors w/ bearings
All calipers with new pads and brake hoses

Factory's rims like new with polished lips and new tires ... They look amazing !!!!!!
This car drives and handles perfect better than new ..... I get tones of looks and I really hate to get rid of it but it's time to let her go ..
The car was stored in a heated garage and never driven in rain or bad weather ... I'm sure there are a few things I left out ..... It still needs a few things like the door weather strip moldings and the rear defroster is not working due to the lines were cut when they tinted the Windows's ... But over all it's a really nice all original GTA .... Everything works inside the car .. Power windows locks seats heat power hatch cruise control and the a/c which was converted to 134a..... Please ask any questions before bidding and if you could come take a look !!!!!! THANK YOU

GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
7,610,862 vehicles in North America being recalled for unintended ignition key rotation. 6,805,679 are in the United States.

GM recalling another 2.7 million vehicles in five separate campaigns

Thu, 15 May 2014

The recalls keep rolling in from General Motors, evidently keen to avoid repeating the mistakes of the ignition-switch debacle and clean house. This time they're all coming at once, with five separate recalls announced together covering approximately 2.7 million vehicles.
The largest of the five actions involves over 2.4 million units of the previous-generation Chevrolet Malibu and Malibu Maxx, Pontiac G6 and Saturn Aura in order to fix brake light wiring harness, which have been found to be susceptible to corrosion. The recall is separate from the 56k Aura sedans which GM recently recalled over faulty shift cables, not to mention the previous massive recall of 1.3 million vehicles - some of them the same models - but appears to have resulted from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation that started with the G6 almost a year ago.
The second-largest campaign involves the 2014 Chevy Malibu, specifically those fitted with GM's 2.5-liter engine and stop/start system, approximately 140,000 examples of which has been found to have problematic brakes. The issue does not appear to be connected to the recall of 8k Malibu and Buick LaCrosse sedans (also involving brake woes) which we reported upon last week. Four crashes have been reported in such models, but GM admits it's not yet clear if the problem was a contributing factor in the accidents.

How to turn a Pontiac Fiero into a trackday car

Fri, 17 Oct 2014

Imagine hitting the track in a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive sports coupe that's affordable and has pretty good parts availability. It might sound like a pipe dream, but it's actually quite possible, if you're willing to think a little outside the box. The Pontiac Fiero is out there just waiting for a little work to turn it into a competent racing machine.
Think about it for a second. Of course, we would all like to be snaking through the curves in something exotic, but what happens when you crash or something breaks? The bills are going to mount up quickly. However, if you ball up a Fiero at the track, as long as you're not hurt, then it's not a huge tragedy.
That's basically the story of Steven Snyder in a new video from Drive starring Matt Farah. Snyder wanted to go to the track cheaply and ended up with an awesome little Fiero with a huge wing and a claimed 220 horsepower at the wheels thanks to a V6 from a Chevrolet Lumina. Check out the video to see how this pint-size Pontiac performs.
