Cherokee, Alabama, United States
For more details email me at: rosaliarccurren@bigboys.net .
2002 Trans Am WS6. The car is completely stock and like NEW with just 32K
ORIGINAL MILES. Its powered by an all aluminum 5.7L LS1 with a T56 Six Speed manual transmission. It is one of just
531 Bright Red Ram Air cars made with a 6 speed manual transmission in 2002.
Paint and Body
The Bright Red paint on the car looks great and shines like new....its a 9.9 out of 10. There are no dents or dings
anywhere. This car has been garaged its whole life and it shows. The car has the factory WS6 17in wheels with the
brand new tires. The car looks amazing and would be a winner at any show or cruise in you carry it to!
Interior
The tan leather interior is in absolutely amazing shape as well...its a 9.9 out of 10 too. The seats, carpet and
door panels are in great condition as they should be with no cracks or other issues. The car has a Monsoon Stereo,
PW, PL, PS and traction control.
Drivetrain
The car is powered by a totally stock 5.7L LS1 engine (all numbers matching of course.) It came from the factory
with a LS6 intake. It cranks and runs great...and is VERY STRONG. The stock T56 six speed transmission shifts great
and has a factory Hurst Shifter. It has recently received a full service including Mobil 1 full synthetic motor
oil. This car is very fast, drives great and can be driven anywhere without worry!
I am sure you know 2002 was the last year of the Trans AM and that makes this car is a true collectors car and has
been treated like one its whole life. These cars in original condition and with very low mileage are very hard to
find and are only going up in value. There are no disappointments with this car...it is beautiful!

2008-2009 Pontiac G8 recalled over airbag concern
Mon, 07 Nov 2011General Motors is recalling around 38,000 Pontiac G8 sedans from its 2008 and 2009 model years. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that the cars may have a passenger-side airbag flaw that might prevent proper deployment in certain scenarios.
According to NHTSA, the airbag might not adequately protect a fifth percentile woman - that is, a woman around four-foot, 11-inches weighing 108 pounds. The New York Times indicates that the anomaly was found during a crash test conducted by GM's Australian branch, Holden, which was testing the G8's twin (read: Commodore) for head injuries. According to that report, the test in question is specifically tailored to simulate injuries to females, so the results do not apply to men or children.
The issue has been blamed on a seat position sensor that governs airbag deployment rates. NHTSA indicates that when the front passenger seat is moved all the way forward, the faulty sensor may inappropriately trigger a 30-millisecond delay between airbag stages, potentially leading to greater injuries.
Looking back at Oprah's free-car giveaway 10 years later
Fri, 12 Sep 2014
Oprah kicked off her 19th season in dramatic fashion by giving all 276 members of the studio audience a free car.
Molly Vielweber's Pontiac G6 appears unremarkable at first glance. It wears forest green paint, rolls on five-spoke aluminum wheels, and it has a sizeable scrape in the driver's side door, the scar of a decade's worth of hard use. You wouldn't notice it parked at a big box store or cruising on the highway. Pontiac made hundreds of thousands of G6s in the 2000s, and a lot are still on the road. It's unremarkable in every way except for the front license plate, which reads, "Oprah 6."
How to turn a Pontiac Fiero into a trackday car
Fri, 17 Oct 2014Imagine hitting the track in a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive sports coupe that's affordable and has pretty good parts availability. It might sound like a pipe dream, but it's actually quite possible, if you're willing to think a little outside the box. The Pontiac Fiero is out there just waiting for a little work to turn it into a competent racing machine.
Think about it for a second. Of course, we would all like to be snaking through the curves in something exotic, but what happens when you crash or something breaks? The bills are going to mount up quickly. However, if you ball up a Fiero at the track, as long as you're not hurt, then it's not a huge tragedy.
That's basically the story of Steven Snyder in a new video from Drive starring Matt Farah. Snyder wanted to go to the track cheaply and ended up with an awesome little Fiero with a huge wing and a claimed 220 horsepower at the wheels thanks to a V6 from a Chevrolet Lumina. Check out the video to see how this pint-size Pontiac performs.
