2002 Pontiac Trans Am Ws6 Low Miles Super Clean Car Cheap on 2040-cars
Clinton, Tennessee, United States
THIS IS A VERY NICE WS6 THAT HAS BEEN TAKEN CAR OF SINCE DAY ONE. THE INTERIOR IS IMMACULATE AND HAS THE RARE BLACK LEATHER INSTEAD OF THE GRAY. DASH IS PERFECT ALSO. THE MOTOR AND TRANS SHIFT LIKE THE DAY IT WAS NEW AND IT RUNS AWESOME. AC IS ICE COLD. THE ONLY MODS DONE TO THIS CAR IS STAINLESS LONG TUBE HEADERS, MAGNAFLOW STAINLESS EXHAUST AND AN SLP AIR LID, VERY TASTEFUL MODS. THE PAINT ON THE CAR IS SUPER SLICK AND COULD PASS AS FACTORY PAINT, NOT A SHODDY JOB. VERY NICE PAINT! IT HAS 59,000 MILES ON IT AND IT IS AN AUTOMATIC. THE CAR HAS A REBUILT TITLE DUE TO BEING WRECKED WHEN IT WAS ALMOST NEW. THE CAR WAS FIXED BY A GM BODYSHOP AND IT WAS FIXED RIGHT. THE INNER APRONS AND THE FRAME WERE UNTOUCHED, IT WAS ALL COSMETIC DAMAGE BUT IT DOESNT TAKE MUCH TO TOTAL A WS6 CAR BECAUSE THE FACTORY HOODS ARE OVER 1500 BUCKS SO IT RUNS THE ESTIMATE UP REALLY QUICK. THIS CAR WAS FIXED RIGHT AND YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW IT HAD BEEN WRECKED UNLESS I TOLD YOU. BID WITH CONFIDENCE THAT THIS IS A GREAT LOW MILEAGE CAR AND YOU WILL BE SATISFIED WITH THE CONDITION IT IS IN. CALL FOR MORE INFO 8656964712

GM issues four new recalls, 2.4 million cars affected
Tue, 20 May 2014General Motors has announced another set of recalls, covering some 2.42 million cars in the United States. For those keeping track, The General has now recalled over 15 million cars worldwide this year due to various issues.
Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:
1,339,355 - Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia models from the 2009 to 2014 model years; Saturn Outlook models from the 2009 to 2010 model years
2008-2009 Pontiac G8 recalled over airbag concern
Mon, 07 Nov 2011General Motors is recalling around 38,000 Pontiac G8 sedans from its 2008 and 2009 model years. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that the cars may have a passenger-side airbag flaw that might prevent proper deployment in certain scenarios.
According to NHTSA, the airbag might not adequately protect a fifth percentile woman - that is, a woman around four-foot, 11-inches weighing 108 pounds. The New York Times indicates that the anomaly was found during a crash test conducted by GM's Australian branch, Holden, which was testing the G8's twin (read: Commodore) for head injuries. According to that report, the test in question is specifically tailored to simulate injuries to females, so the results do not apply to men or children.
The issue has been blamed on a seat position sensor that governs airbag deployment rates. NHTSA indicates that when the front passenger seat is moved all the way forward, the faulty sensor may inappropriately trigger a 30-millisecond delay between airbag stages, potentially leading to greater injuries.
GM recalling another 1.3-million cars over power steering woes
Mon, 31 Mar 2014When it rains, it pours. General Motors has announced yet another major recall, covering 1.3 million units in the American market over concerns that the power steering could suddenly fail. As reported by The Detroit News' David Shepardson, GM has now recalled nearly ten times as many cars as it did all of last year.
It's important to note that should this problem arise in these cars, the steering won't fail completely, however, power steering could suddenly stop functioning. Manual steering would still be possible, but as GM says, there's an increased risk of accidents, particularly at lower speeds.
Like the ignition switch recall, this latest problem covers a wide range of vehicles from Chevrolet, Saturn and Pontiac. Normally, we'd give you the full rundown in paragraph form, but the variety of models and model years means a list is just easier. So, have a look, directly from GM's press release:
