This beautiful WS6 Trans Am has been adult owned and kept in heated garages since new. The original owner was a woman in her 40's who due to medical reasons sold it to her friend, a 52 yr. old man, in 2004 when it had 5400 miles on it. The second owner had all of the improvements professionally done. I have receipts for everything except the roll bar, sub frame connectors and window tinting. Some of the improvements are:

Turbocharger, intercooler, Granatelli MAF, fuel management mod, boost and fuel pressure gauges, dyno tuned. All work performed by Turbo Technologies in Tacoma, WA. (Google them).

I have dyno sheet showing 430 HP and 510 TQ at the wheels.

Centerforce Dual Friction clutch, Mcleod master cyl., new slave cyl. and throw out bearing.

Flowmaster exhaust. Still retains catalytic converters and passed emissions test in WA.

Welded in subframe connectors and 4 pt. roll bar to stiffen chassis.

Tinted windows.

Torq Thrust wheels 17X9.5 frt and 17X11 rear.

Nitto NT01 tires with 2K miles. 275/40ZR/17 front 315/35ZR/17 rear.

I bought this car with 11,414 miles on it last year. I am 57 yrs. old. This car has not been raced or abused by some young kid. I have included a pic of some "curb rash"  on the RF wheel and a small blem on the drivers door panel. The car does have 13K miles on it so it is not perfect but it is darn close.

To make shipping easier for you, I will deliver the car to the shipping company in Anchorage for free after the funds have cleared my bank. I know a good one who ships the cars in an enclosed container to the Port of Seattle, WA. I will give you their name. All shipping arraignments and fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

A $500 non refundable deposit via PayPal is required within 24hrs. from the end of the auction. Balance due by bank check or bank deposit with in 7 days from the end of the auction. Car is sold "As is" with no warranty. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.

Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.

Lutz says Washington killed Pontiac, next G6 was to be ATS derivative

Tue, 29 Oct 2013

How many people think Buick or GMC should have gotten the axe instead of Pontiac? You can't see it, but I'm raising my hand. Autoweek reports that former Vice Chairman of GM, Bob Lutz, has indicated that things didn't have to end up the way they did.
"The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.'"
In a talk given at the Petersen Automotive Museum for the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, Lutz says "The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.' So, it goes. And when the guy who is handing you the check for $53 billion says, 'I don't want Pontiac, drop Pontiac or you don't get the money,' it doesn't take you very long to make up your mind." Lutz even added that the next-generation Pontiac G6 would have benefitted from the rear-wheel-drive platform of the Cadillac ATS. How awesome would that have been?
