This is a AS IS NO WARRANTY

I don't know a lot about this car to start. I do know it runs and drives I drove it on the highway for about 20 miles. It runs and shifts just fine from the short drive I took in it.  It needs scrubbed inside but isn't real real bad. The black around the car just needs some armour all and it will shine up. The clear coat on the hood is peeling but there are 100's of these same colors out there for a hood. It has a small dent and a little spider in the left rear quarter panel I put touch up paint on it and took pictures. The right front fender had a big chip I sanded and put primer on it and put touch up paint on it. I am including the touch up paint with sale. The windshield has real small chip in it and I was told it was in it for awhile and won't split. Back bumper has small crack in it. also back hatch trim on hatch has a hole in it.

I put a newer battery in it. It starts and drives. At 70 in has a vibration in it but does run and shift no problem that I heard or seen. These cars with salvage title for $3000. This has a clear title. I am honest about what I know about this car. I put a lot of bad so there was nothing hismall dden. If you want to come see the car be my guest no problem. Need more pictures just email me I can send them.  See pictures for better views I tried to include all the bad in the pictures.  You want more pictures just email or come see the car in person.  CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY ALSO SO AUCTION MAY END EARLY.  If I get a price I can live with.

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

Airbag recall adds 85k Pontiac Vibes to tally

Fri, 13 Jun 2014

The repairs needed for the faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata continue to expand. Toyota initially announced a recall of 766,300 vehicles equipped with the bad part on June 11 as a followup to a campaign from 2013. Soon after, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened a preliminary evaluation into five automakers who also used the component in their models. Now, NHTSA has released the official announcement of the latest Toyota recall listing 844,277 affected cars, including the newly added 2003-2004 Pontiac Vibe.
While NHTSA's document didn't include a model-by-model breakdown, General Motors spokesperson Alan Adler estimated to Autoblog that roughly 85,000 Vibes in the US would be covered under the latest recall. Like the rest of the affected models, the airbag inflator could rupture in a crash causing the bag not to work correctly, possibly spraying metal fragments at the occupant.
Toyota spokesperson Cindy Knight told Autoblog that the reason for the disparity between the earlier press release and NHTSA document was that Toyota was continuing to comb through VINs to create a list of affected vehicles. The original number was an estimate of that process at the time. Scroll down to the recall report from NHTSA.

Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day

Thu, 07 Jun 2012

Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.
