This is an exceptional, meticulously maintained (receipts) factory original 964 Cabriolet C4 5 sp.
It is completely original with spectacular guards red paint. The car has never had any accidents or any kind of paint touch up, not even the bumpers have needed to be touched up. The underside and inner fenders are as clean as the rest of the car (photos).there are no scraps or dings on the underside floor pan and the car still has the plastic engine shield that is usually taken off and lost.
New tires 500 miles ago, new top from Porsche as the plastic rear window was starting to yellow and I don't like the look of a repair job so a complete new top was installed. Power top functions perfectly and seals tight. New brakes, rotors and clutch 800 miles ago (receipts).
This car has only seen 10000miles in the last 16 years. No drips, leaks or oil sweat no matter how long the car is parked. No modifications or aftermarket parts, everything used was OEM Porsche, only item not factory is the Kenwood CD player and it was installed with no extra wires, cutting or speakers, easily removed. All electrics work, no marks on the glass, all rubber is supple and in new condition. Panel fit is perfect for doors, trunk and engine lid. Lots of records, books, never used tool kit, spare and compressor. No road rash.

Porsche exec confirms Macan Diesel for US
Wed, 15 Oct 2014The idea of a diesel-powered Porsche is the sort of thing that sounds really, really weird... until you actually drive it. The result of sticking glow plugs under the hood of Stuttgart's finest, though, is a vehicle that's nearly as entertaining as a gas-powered model but with much more torque and better fuel economy. Considering that, we think it's absolutely splendid news that following previous reports, Porsche has now confirmed a diesel-powered Macan for the US market.
"We are now busy with the development and the engineering," Andre Oosthuizen, Porsche's North American marketing VP, told Automotive News. "I can confirm that V6 diesel offering with about 245 horsepower."
Yep, that's the same 3.0-liter V6 found, most notably, in the CUV's Audi Q5 platform-mate as well as a plethora of other Volkswagen Group vehicles, both in the US and abroad. Stuttgart already offers the 3.0-liter oil-burner in the Euro-spec crossover, where it churns out 258 hp and 427 pound-feet of torque.
Playboy reveals its 2013 Cars of the Year
Thu, 20 Dec 2012Vaunted men's magazine Playboy knows that its readers are nearly as interested in cars as they are in the female anatomy... sorry, we thought we could write that with a straight face. Anyway, the buff-book does occasionally fill some of its spreads with sexy metal, to accent all the rest of the sexiness.
To wit, the magazine has unveiled its feature on the 2013 Cars of the Year. Without giving us much in the way of criteria for the awards, nor a clear framing of the categories ("Responsible Ride" is a particularly challenging concept, especially when you consider that the Mazdaspeed3 was the winner), Playboy has nevertheless highlighted what we assume to be it's favorite 12 or 13 (depending on how you count) cars from the 2013 model year.
Headlining the class is the Porsche 911, which Playboy writers single out for having "remarkable electronic voodoo." BMW M5 is named "Slickest Sports Sedan" though the Cadillac ATS then follows on because "we couldn't resist giving the new Caddy a shout-out." The rest of the picks are pretty conventional (save, perhaps, the Honda Fit EV as "Ace Electric"), even if the categories and methodology are fairly wonky. Porsche 911 Targa leaks out ahead of Detroit debut
Mon, 13 Jan 2014With the doors of Cobo Center opening for the 2014 Detroit Auto Show this morning, Porsche is set to reveal its new 911 Targa in a matter of hours. But before it gets the chance, the first batch of images have already leaked out, courtesy of Chinese car site autohome.com.cn.
As expected, the new Targa appears to ditch the complex sliding glass roof panels that adorned recent versions of the semi-convertible 911 in favor of a more back-to-basics approach. An entirely removable roof panel opens up the sky, backed by a metallic B-pillar hoop in front of a large curved-glass rear window.
We'll have to wait just a little longer for the full scope of images and all the official details, but we're expecting the new Targa to carry most of the same technical specifications as the 991 on which it's based. Watch this space for more.
