2007 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe 2-door 3.6l on 2040-cars
Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, United States
I have owned this exceptional beauty for 4 years and am sad to part with it. Purchased as a one owner car from my local Porsche dealer, Porsche of Conshohocken (my 5th Porsche from them), on August 13th, 2010 with 18K miles and driven solely by me since.
This car has been carefully driven less than 5000 miles per year. It has never seen snow, only rarely seen rain and completely smoke free. It has always been garage kept and carefully looked after. No expense spared to keep in perfect condition. All mechanical work done by local dealer and specialist. Routine oil changes at approximately 3500 miles with Mobil One and relatively new Michelin tires installed. The only mechanical issue during my tenure was a failing water pump, replaced by the dealer within the last year. My new 911 arriving soon. and I am pleased to pass on the ownership of this incredible vehicle. Pease feel free to reach out to me, Adriancastelli54@gmail or 6107217226, to discuss. BTW, the Carfax is clean and I have a copy if interested. Autocheck says minor accident, which is not on Carfax and the dealer confirms the Carfax details are correct, no accidents. Both Autocheck and Carfax list this as a 3 owner car, the Porsche dealer says this is because it was sold by one dealer, Greenwich Infiniti in Connecticut to an other dealer, Holberts Motors in Pennsylvania, and that I am the real second owner. |

J.D. Power: Vehicle dependability at all-time high, Lexus and Porsche lead
Wed, 13 Feb 2013
Each year, J.D. Power and Associates surveys original owners of three-year-old vehicles to find out what kinds of problems they have had experienced over the last 12 months, and then it uses this data to create its annual Vehicle Dependability Study. This means that the models in the 2013 study are 2010 model year vehicles, and J.D. Power rates each make as well as the top individual models based on how many problems were experienced per 100 vehicles (PP100).
Debunking the idea that carryover models are more dependable than new or updated models, the 2013 study found that the average carryover model experienced 133 PP100, while all-new or redesigned vehicles for the 2010 model year had 116 PP100; vehicles that received minor changes fared the best with just 111 PP100. The overall average for all makes was 126 PP100, which is the lowest figure since the findings were first issued in 1989.
2014 Porsche Panamera 4S Executive
Fri, 09 Aug 2013If the idea of a Porsche sedan (or, long hatchback) is still off-putting to you, then you might want to look away now. For 2014, the polarizing Panamera has received a midcycle refresh bringing slightly different styling, as well as adding two new models to the lineup, the S E-Hybrid and the stretched-wheelbase Executive. Having focused most of my recent trip to Germany on a First Drive of the intriguing plug-in Panamera, I also got to spend some time with the roomier Executive model.
Offered in both 4S and Turbo guise, the Panamera Executive has been stretched by almost six inches for the sole purpose of improving rear passenger space. Although it's hard to imagine anyone would willingly buy a Porsche and opt to sit in the back seat, I'd have to say that if I'm going to be chauffeured around in a car, why not make it a Porsche? For the most part, though, I'm guessing that many Panamera Executive sedans will be owned by people who want to one-up their buddy driving a stretched BMW 7 Series or Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Porsche 911 GT2 caught testing, is super bad
Thu, 27 Jun 2013Look what spy photographers have spotted sprinting around the Nürburgring. Our shooters nabbed a few photos of the all-new Porsche 911 GT2 in its native habitat without any of the bulky camouflage or cladding we're used to seeing. The result is our first truly clear view at the upcoming successor to the GT2 throne. From the looks of it, the new model will boast wider fender arches front and rear, and hefty air intakes set into the machine's hips should help feed a beastly 3.8-liter flat six-cylinder engine. Early guesses put the engine output somewhere around 560 horsepower.
Mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the engine should propel this rear-engined heathen to 62 miles per hour in under three seconds. Top speed? Try somewhere around 200 mph. If that's true, the next-generation 911 GT2 will be the fastest 911 in Porsche history.
