PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE A 3RD PARTY BUYER (E.G., LOOKING TO FLIP THE CAR AT AUCTION, OR SHIP EX-USA)

I am the original owner of this car.  This is a pristine base 911 that has been babied, a classic garage queen.

I went with the new for 2007 color Meteor Grey and really like it.  I went grey/grey because...why not? Something you don't usually see pre-ordered. Oh...right. I ordered the car because dealer inventory had things I didn't want: Bose, Sport Chrono...just didn't want to spend the dough.

Ordered 11/09/06, delivered 2/17/09 @ Paul Miller Porsche. I paid ~$78K out the door.

Options ordered with the car:
P74 Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package
P15 Power Seat Package
342 Heated Front Seats
435 Sport Steering Wheel
M6G Stone Grey Floor Mats (I have the originals and a brand news set that I'll toss in)
498 Delete Model Designation
--- Clear Side Markers
Tires are the factory Bridgestones.  Folks all say they love the Michelins, but they wear faster.  The rears are replacements; the fronts are original.

Aftermarket additions:
Porsche 5mm wheel spacers
Porsche wheel caps with colored crests
Clear Bra (sure wish I had put it on the M3).  The clear bra is on the front bumper, headlights, front fenders, hood (except for part of the edge near the windshield (see photo), a pillars, door handles, and rim around the wheel wells.
LoJack (having been carjacked at gunpoint in a C320, you think about these things...)
Nice custom cover

So, this means there is no navigation, no Bose, no sport exhaust, no full leather, in case you were hoping for those things.  Currently I have a Valentine wired to the car near the rear mirror and will remove it prior to sale.  I can leave the dongle attached if you want.

Winter driving and storage

The car is always garaged.  For most winters, it is stored covered with a trickle charge from Thanksgiving weekend until March.  During that time, I take it out a couple of times to make sure it's doing okay, but only after all of the salt is gone, and only for 20-3o minutes.  The tires are kept at 50psi during that time and thus have no flat-spotting.

Service

All service has been done at Paul Miller Porsche except for an initial oil change at 2000 mi which I did myself.  The most recent service was completed in February 2013.  New TPMS sensors were added.  The spark plugs have not yet been changed because although it is nominally time to do it, there has been no degradation in performance.  I have all the paperwork and can answer your questions.

During the ownership of the car, there have been no remarkable service needs.  The driver's seat lumbar support motor would operate by itself when the car was off.  This was sorted out a long time ago.  The plastic pieces that hide the seat hinges were scuffing the sides of the seats.  The dealership repaired them.  The rear spoiler was squeaking.  It was lubricated.  That's it.

Condition of car

The car is in excellent condition.  Noticeable items, shown in pictures include: scuff in passenger rear wheel (repairable), typical wrinkling of the side seat bolster from modest use, very minor scuffing of the bottom of the front bumper underside.  Accidents: no.  Water damage: no.  Hail damage: no.  Any sort of damage that you can think of: no.  Have you ever tracked the car: no.

Care

I am the exclusive washer of the car (not included).  It has a very nice finish free of scuffs and swirl marks or all those little lines you see when folks send their car to the car wash.

Porsche tells 2014 911 GT3 owners to park their cars pending inspection

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

Porsche may have have a serious problem on its hands. After a rumored five 2014 911 GT3 coupes caught fire in recent weeks, Porsche launched an investigation and stopped delivering its road-ready racecar until it could diagnose the problem. Now, it has issued a press release asking all 2014 911 GT3 owners to immediately stop driving their cars until they can be inspected. Porsche is offering to pick up the cars from owners' homes and take them to the nearest dealer.
Porsche confirms that the at least two 911 GT3 coupes them have caught fire in Europe, and it has elected to inspect all 785 2014 GT3s worldwide. However, it claims no drivers have been injured in the fires. Unfortunately, Porsche says, "Internal studies to determine the cause of the engine damage have not been completed yet," so owners might have a bit of a wait before they are able to drive Porsche's ultimate 911 again. 2015 Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series is a seriously quick way to spend $260k

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

Porsche is usually associated with being a sports car brand, but with vehicles like the Cayenne and Panamera it takes a step into the world of luxury against firmly established players like Mercedes-Benz. One way for the company to poke its head above the high-class fray is by taking things further, and in the case of the Panamera Exclusive Series at the Los Angeles Auto Show, it means pushing grandeur to extreme levels.
Coming in at an absolutely eye-watering $263,900, plus $995 destination, the Panamera Exclusive starts its life as the already sumptuous Panamera Turbo S Executive with a 4.8-liter, twin-turbo V8 making 570 horsepower on an extended wheelbase. To help justify the extra $63,000 for the Exclusive, though, the model gets 20-inch black Sport Classic wheels and an interior in swaddled in Nappa leather with dark walnut and piano black trim. Rear passengers also get 10.1-inch touchscreens mounted on the back of the front seats. A set of fitted Poltrana Frau leather luggage is included with each one, as well.
The luxurious sedan earns it Exclusive moniker because just 100 of them are being made worldwide. Scroll down to read about Porsche's ultimate limousine.

Driving 50 years of Porsche 911 history

Raiding The Porsche Museum For A Fun Track Day
It seems everyone is celebrating anniversaries this year: it's Aston's hundredth, Lamborghini's fiftieth, Ford Mustang's fiftieth, Chevy Corvette's sixtieth - and Tesla just turned ten or something. It's been a little out of hand, frankly, all these forced marketing festivities, but if we had to pick one milestone to really celebrate hard and party all night, the Porsche 911 would be at the top of our list.
Get ready for a major 911 blowout bash at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show. It was on September 12 back in 1963 at this very show where Porsche unveiled its "901" painted in a rather boring shade of beige. Though drably finished, the car caused a worldwide frenzy in the budding German sports car sphere.
