1967 Porsche 912 Nice Original Survivor! This Porsche was delivered new by Linn Motors, Inc. to D.B. Sprow in Orlando, Florida on April 15, 1967. The Original Owners Manual, Warranty Booklet and many Invoices are Present! I believe the Engine is Numbers Matching as #754256 is correct for 1967. The Engine turns over, see video. The Original Warranty Booklet indicates a service at Contemporary Cars (still in existence) on November 20, 1970 at 52,722 Miles. The Odometer currently shows 56,399 Miles. I believe the mileage to be only 56,399 Likewise the 902/0 4 Speed Transaxle #164484 is correct for 1967 All Original Body Panels and very nice Gaps/Shut Lines The undercarriage is generally solid with some only some patch work/clean up to make a driver level car or take it to the next level Lovely Original Color Code of 6607 Sand Beige over Black Leatherette Interior. Very Desirable Fuchs Rims, plus Original Date Coded Spare Tire Very Rare "Coolaire for Porsche" Air Conditioning System Rare MOMO Prototipo Steering Wheel Glass is all in good condition and the chrome and stainless trim should clean up well with some paint removal The headlights, taillights and interior lights generally appear to work so the electrical system should be serviceable The Interior is complete but needs some attention as shown in the pics. Front seat cover and pads and a good cleaning will go a long way for a driver. All things considered this is an excellent original 912. When restoration is complete, I believe you will have a numbers matching 912 with 56,399 Miles and Original Books/Records in a lovely color combination. The 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S brings 50 extra ponies to Detroit
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Porsche has announced a new version of its popular SUV today at the Detroit Auto Show: the 550-horsepower 2014 Cayenne Turbo S.
This newly minted "flagship" of the Cayenne lineup is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 engine, and offers 50 hp more than the Cayenne Turbo. Performance figures are impressive for the sleek utility vehicle: 0-60 miles per hour can be dashed off in 4.3 seconds, while maximum speed is rated at 175 mph. The Turbo S also gets dynamic chassis control, torque vectoring and Porsche's Sport Chrono package - all standard equipment.
Visually the Cayenne Turbo S differentiates itself from the lesser models in pretty subtle ways. Gloss black trim decorates the gawping front air intakes, as well as rear-view mirror trim panel. The SUV also wears 21-inch Turbo II wheels, a la the 911 Turbo.
Porsche planning customer driving center at Le Mans
Fri, 29 Nov 2013Porsche seems to be on a campaign to build driving centers for its customers to allow them to experience the capabilities of their cars on track. It has one under way in Los Angeles, another in development at its North American headquarters in Atlanta, and a British center set up at the Silverstone circuit. Now the latest reports indicate that Porsche is planning yet another driving center at Le Mans.
The new facility is earmarked to be built at the Circuit de la Sarthe right by the start/finish line, incorporating the Porsche Curves that bridge the Arnage corner and the Ford Chicanes on the West side of the famous track.
Porsche is reportedly still seeking approval from the Automobile Club de l'Ouest that manages the circuit, and once given the green light, would still take some time to complete. But the idea of driving a 911 flat out on the legendary track is likely to make more than a few mouths water, particularly as the German automaker prepares its full-on assault of the famous endurance race next year.
Porsche wants you to 3D print your own Cayman

Porsche has just released 3D printing data for the Cayman S so you can three-dimensionally print out your own and customize to your heart's content. Now Porsche hasn't specified just to what scale the data will allow you to print your Cayman, but we have a feeling that'd mostly be limited by the size of the printer at your disposal.
