Ok here we go a one owner 1968 912 Porsche with 96396 miles. This 912 Porsche will never be found again. You can search the world and never come up with a car like this. You have to understand that you are looking at the original paint, the original hubcaps basically whatever came on this car from the Porsche factory in 1968 still remains. It is matching number throughout. the body lines are simply stunning. I have had a lot of 912 Porsches in my life I have never seen one where the doors and trunk and front hood open and shut with perfection, it is just like going to a porsche dealer in 1968 and opening and shutting the doors of a brand new 912. So anyway enough about the vehicle as you can see this is a truly spectacular survivor that has never been touched. The original owner parked this car in his garage over 15 years ago and has never did anything to it since then. He told me the vehicle ran and drove perfect when he parked it so I don't think it will take much to get it running again. This is a true piece of Porsche history that you might not get another chance at. This car has not even been cleaned in over 15 years. I can only imagine what this 912 would like like if detailed but the owner is old and awnry and refused for me to even wash this beautiful 912 porsche. Porsche 911 Carrera 4S named Motor Trend Best Driver's Car [w/video]
Thu, 22 Aug 2013Motor Trend has named the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S its best driver's car for 2013. The annual
competition for the title included some of the best performance cars that have gone on sale in the past year. The new C4S follows the 2012 Best Driver's Car award winner, a two-wheel-drive Carrera S.
Determining the winner of the coveted title isn't easy. Each vehicle is pushed through Motor Trend's normal battery of instrumented tests. Editors then spend time with each car over a 500-mile tour of mixed conditions before a final batch of testing at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, with pro racer Randy Pobst at the wheel.
Porsche Fire and Ice is chilling art born of flames
Wed, 01 Jan 2014Porsche held a contest inviting ten filmmakers to riff on the tagline for the Panamera, "Thrilling Contradictions," in a 60-second film. The winner was an entry called Fire and Ice by director Ross Cohen, a concept that uses just those two elements in a premise as simple as it is rewarding. For his efforts, Cohen will receive a trip to the Chicago International Film Festival, and you might see the short in the pre-movie advertisements in a theater served by Spotlight Cinema Networks.
Porsche did this kind of thing just two years ago, when it asked filmmakers to illustrate the idea of "Everyday Magic". The winner of that contest, Michael Korbel's It's a Magical Life, followed the journey of a young man to husband and father from the perspective of the trunk of a 911. 2015 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Think of the electric motor in the facelifted 2015 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid as the cream filling in an Oreo cookie. Under the hood of this plug-in hybrid crossover is a 333-horsepower, supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with a 95-hp synchronous electric motor sandwiched between it and an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. The clutched powertrain allows pure combustion, pure electric or a combination of both to drive all four wheels through Porsche's permanent all-wheel-drive system.
Differentiating itself from the Panamera S E-Hybrid sedan, which shares the same basic powertrain and stores energy in a 9.4-kWh battery, the Cayenne crossover is fit with a more robust 10.8-kWh lithium-ion battery that delivers an estimated pure-electric driving range of up to 22 miles at speeds of up to 78 miles per hour.
To be one of the very first US media members to sample Porsche's latest fuel-efficient crossover, the automaker flew us to Frankfurt, Germany, to test the five-passenger Cayenne S E-Hybrid on its home turf.
