Here you have a 1970 Porsche 914-4 in Irish Green. Paint is rough and is bubbling from underneath in places. There is some rust and bad body work on each panel, and some structural rust on the longitudinal and control arm in the rear. Hell holes have minimal rust and battery tray has been replaced. The rest of the car is solid structurally, no rust in trunk or front. Car starts on a dime, runs and drives well. I regularly go on 60+ mile drives in it on mountain roads.

Car has had several modifications from its original 1970 start. Car is #790 to run off the line in 11/69 according to the door sil. Rare car, originally black. Complete with all trim. Comes with Targa Top (has been sprayed over black)

Modifications:

  • Desirable Side-shift Transmission Installed
  • Adjustable passenger seat
  • Reupholstered interior in original basket-weave
  • New Grey Carpet Set
  • 2056 CC Engine from an original EC case 1.8 Litre. 96mm- have all paperwork
  • 911 Valve Screws
  • 600W Stereo System with Stock Subwoofer console

This is a PROJECT for someone who can deal with the structural rust and is sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY. Car has many desirable things and is a complete, drivable car. Car runs and drives great and is FAAASSSTTT with the 44's tuned.

Here is an oppertunity to own a piece of Porsche history with this #790 car. Car has a great look, great feel, solid engine and a beautiful interior. Comes with a box full of misc parts and a haynes manual. NEED TO SELL THIS CAR THIS WEEK. MOTIVATED BUYER AND WANT TO SEE HER GO TO THE RIGHT HOME. NO TIRE KICKERS, ALL BIDS MUST BE SERIOUS. eBay Find of the Day: Your choice of new, unregistered mid-2000s supercars

Wed, 26 Dec 2012

If you didn't quite find what you were hoping to see under the tree this year, maybe it's about time you buy yourself something nice. Something like an unregistered 2005 Porsche Carrera GT. The car has never been titled and has just 83 miles on the odometer. With one owner since new, the Carrera GT is likely to be as nice an example as you're likely to find outside of a museum. Porsche only built 340 of these machines back in 2005, and with a 610 horsepower V10 kicking at your spine, you can lap Santa's sleigh next year. Currently, the Carrera GT has a buy it now price of $457,325 with around six days left on the auction.
Not flashy enough for your tastes? Stroll on down to West Hollywood and you'll find a similarly untitled 2004 Ferrari Enzo up for grabs with a sticker of $1.8 million. Technically a Euro-spec car, the Enzo isn't legal to operate on US roads, but could be modified to satisfy Uncle Sam with a little effort. The seller calls this car the "last brand-new Enzo in existence" and with 175 miles on the clock, that may be a true statement. You can head over to eBay Motors for a closer look if you're feeling spendy.

Porsche Cayman gets a new face

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

We've already seen photos of the facelifted Porsche Boxster out testing, but we're now seeing these same changes making their way onto the hardtop Cayman coupe. Cosmetically, the next round of Porsche's smallest sports cars isn't vastly different, with redesigned headlamps, LED running lights (like its big brother, the 911), and new taillamps that actually aren't visible on the prototype seen here.
The big news for the updated Boxster/Cayman range is the long-rumored four-cylinder engine. Recent reports suggest we could see four-pots with displacements of 1.6, 2.0, or 2.5 liters, and with output ratings as high as 360 horsepower. Of course, these new four-cylinder mills would be both turbocharged and direct-injected.
It's unclear whether or not the six-cylinder engine range will also be updated when this new Cayman comes to market. In any case, we expect to see it bow in the relatively near future. Stay tuned.

Daughter has great taste, gives stepdad Porsche 914 of his youth

Mon, 14 Jul 2014

Children require a ton of sacrifices; even people without kids know that. Whether it's the time to watch a baseball game or the money just to get there, parents have to give up something for the betterment of their offspring. Of course, once a child grows up, it's finally possible to repay mom and dad for all of their hard work. In the case of Kristin Russell and her stepdad, Dave, that involves a surprise 1973 Porsche 914.
Before he got married, Dave had a sweet, white 914. He even had the money saved up to restore it, but spent the cash on the wedding instead. The Porsche languished in the garage until Dave eventually parted it out and sold it off. Years later, Russell wanted to do something to thank her stepdad for all of the things he had done for her and her mom. The only fitting thank you was an identical 914 to the one that he gave up. Scroll down to watch Dave's reaction of getting his dream car as a surprise Father's Day gift.
