The car is currently my daily driver to work and back. Was my project car that I finished. Now I want to move on to my next project! Car runs well for a 27 year old car
Also the car is a 5 speed manual trans so you can enjoy driving your Porsche :)

Car runs, shifts, and looks good!

- Momo Steering wheel
- New Stainless steel glovebox hinges
- New Cassette box hinges
- New Pioneer speakers and head unit w/ CD player. Speakers fit behind stock grills.

The car is clean. No Rust.

Engine, Trans, and Dash have came from a 108k mile car. Dash ODO reads 108k. Body has about 180,000. Title reads 180,000 N/A.

Known Issues:
- Alternator belt wines under high loads(Maybe retention the belt). Does not hinder car's performance.
- Shifter could be a hair tighter. A simple shift lever ($50) replacement will make it shift like new. Car shifts fine as is, but if you are a perfectionist...
- A/C does not work. Heat DOES work.
- Its about time for a distributor cap and sparks replacement according to maintenance schedules. Have the new cap and it will be included. This is part of regular maintenance.
- Power steering doesn't work, so the car currently has manual steering which by all means is a better fit for the car. Never needs to be fixed but I should mention it!
- If the car even has power locks they don't work. I don't know if it ever had it. But you just like, put the key in the handle and unlock it the way you unlock a car. Ya know?
- A few scratches here and there (I mean, I do drive the thing)
- Front spoiler has chips from going over parking curbs. This is common on 944s. Look at the pictures to see it.

More or less, a few scattered little things that can be expected with buying a used 27 year old car. Or any used car for that matter.

Feel free to ask questions! Or contact me to come look at the car! I have described everything the best I possibly can!
Selling as is. No Returns. No Warranty. Nothing. Once the title is transferred, the car is 100% your responsibility. I am liable for nothing after title transfer.

Buyer is 100% responsible for shipping costs. If within 75 Miles I will drop off for $25 (cash on delivery). Feel free to come pick it up in person for free. Local pick up is ENCOURAGED!

Bottom Line: It runs good. It looks good. Its affordable. And its a Porsche.

2012 TechArt Porsche 911 is visually dazzling, both inside and out

Wed, 07 Mar 2012

One way to ensure that your brand-new Porsche 911 (a.k.a. 991) won't look like the one in your neighbor's driveway is to give TechArt a call. The famed German tuner has rolled out its version of the latest Carrera and Carrera S at the Geneva Motor Show and trust us, it won't be mistaken for anything from the factory in Stuttgart.
Up front, TechArt has fitted its own unique two-part spoiler with integrated splitter while more aggressive side skirts adorn the rocker panels. The rear has a new lower diffuser, wrapped around the TechArt exhaust, and a large fixed rear wing (complete with an integrated third brake light). Look more closely to notice the subtle trim panels on the exterior mirrors and front headlights. The wheels are lightweight forged 20- and 21-inch alloys with matching paint on their rims.
Inside the heavily modified cabin are even more drastic enhancements (let's say TechArt has gone over the top). Don't let the aluminum pedals be a distraction as you inspect the black Alcantara and high-grade leather covering nearly every square inch. Flirting with gaudy, the dark upholstery is contrasted by vehicle-color-coordinated stitching and painted trim splashed throughout. However, the icing on the cake is an insanely thick TechArt three-spoke sports steering wheel.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS vs. Mercedes SLS AMG Black in battle of who can shred more rubber

Fri, 04 Apr 2014

We might be looking at the end of an era in European performance models. Mercedes-Benz is doing away with the SLS in favor of a rumored smaller and cheaper SLC, and Porsche has said that a new 911 GT2 isn't necessarily a sure thing, which means another 911 GT2 RS is even farther away. In its latest video, Evo's Jethro Bovingdon pits the ultimate versions of these German sports coupes against each other and finds two of the fastest cars the magazine has ever lapped around its track.
In one corner, there is the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series that sits as the pinnacle of the company's halo model. It relies on the classic setup of a V8 mounted in front powering the rear wheels. On the other side, there is the 911 GT2 RS with a turbocharged flat-six mounted at the back, spinning the rear wheels. It was conceived to be Porsche's ultimate expression of a turbocharged 911, and while it's a few years old, Bovingdon shows that it's up to the task of racing a more modern rival.
Both of these rear-wheel-drive monsters are more than capable of some fantastically smoky power-slides, but they also show how great the last generation of sports cars was. Scroll down to check out the video.

Porsche (finally) unleashes full, official details on 918 Spyder

Mon, 09 Sep 2013

Porsche has finally let released all of the details on the 918 Spyder, the German brand's challenger to the McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari, after months of leading our poor, performance-loving hearts on. The covers were lifted at the Volkswagen Group night, an enormous precursor to the Frankfurt Motor Show, and include a massive, 11,000-word press release that's attached at the bottom of this page.
The 918 Spyder features a mid-mounted, dry-sump-lubricated, 4.6-liter V8 engine that generates 608 horsepower when left to its own devices. Combined with a trio of electric motors, which produce 286 hp, the total system horsepower for the 918 Spyder rests at 887 ponies. That's less than the McLaren P1 (903 hp) and the LaFerrari (949 hp), but the Porsche is also likely to be a bit cheaper, starting at $845,000, while the McLaren will be in the seven-figure range for certain, and it will more than likely be joined by the LaFezza.
The 918 Spyder counters with a 2.8-second jog to 62, a 7.7-second run to 124 and it will hit 186 in 22 seconds.
